  1. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Yes, I have Big Dipper H38 red on Viscaria and it feels a bit too hard for my BH now. Measured the sponge 49 on my scale (it is as expected), it's the top-sheet too.

I thought you might enjoy it after this exhausting day ;-)

Topspin. When you understand the way, you see it in all things.
  5. Lost interest in WTT

These are great points. Especially because without hearing it, it would simply not occur to me, how the hell can someone see it that way. And after hearing it is obvious that well, perhaps even the majority sees it that way ;-) LOL, "players don't know what they are doing". But the question...
  6. Anybody ever fixed air bubble on topsheet?

Then give it to somehow who may like it ;-)
  7. Anybody ever fixed air bubble on topsheet?

Yes. Btw., I couldn't resist and glued the Double Fish Volant Phoenix H40 (boosted with 1 layer of FTL-Seamoon rests mixture to make it straight). The setup is now 196g, 10g heaviear then the same with H3 BS H41. Sponge is dense, tackiness is not very high, I can lift the ball, but it goes down...
  8. Anybody ever fixed air bubble on topsheet?

Same exp. Bubble vs top-sheet: I think the top-sheet - I mean the layer above pips - it is thin - but what is connected to the sponge is the pips. You see, so that "thinness" of the top-sheet doesn't (or doesn't have to) influence the bubbling I didn't bubble my sheet. I used it for 3 hours...
  9. Anybody ever fixed air bubble on topsheet?

In my experience, the bubble develops after the first or second re-glue (involving re-boost), because those stretch the rubber, force me to cut some overlap. So if it is new, I'd not worry about 1st time boosting, of course assuming you're not making a "tube" of it. Curious about how you like...
  10. Lost interest in WTT

Cheers and bow @SFF_lib, these are good intentions, but as for me, I'd say: let's do no more changes please for at least 30 years. ;-)
  11. Lost interest in WTT

Probably minority view: For me the game develops, and forces certain areas, especially body movements, stroke mechanics to be more efficient and effective. It's like the development prunes the inefficiencies away, because they can't survive the competition. The movements and strokes are getting...

When you have this day, where soo many balls go over the net out, do you also tend to blame it on evaporating booster?
  13. Ladies and Gentleman, Dreams do come true

From Ali, Type O - the one with the biggest head (not A, not D). Cheers. As you can see in that link, that is only a screw-hole, so you can connect it. Give it time Michail, you'll find the consistent pressure, no drama.
  14. I've graduated.

Congrats. Excerpt from the near future (been there, 've seen it): Gozo no longer dishonests himself by using Tenergies, you see - Gozo, is a hero!
  15. Sponge Hardness new Video

Thank you for the wonderful confirmation. I actually honestly thought it's possible that you'd get it by now. But no, we gotta wait.
  16. Sponge Hardness new Video

Yes, of course, that is the ultimate important thing for you, for me, and for everybody else individually. But here it is not about "individually". We exchange information, and for me, measured hardness is a valuable information. Let me give you an example. Michael measures consistently his H3...
  17. Sponge Hardness new Video

COR - or simply how bouncy the rubber is - is a valuable information. But it is far from being the only important or most important value. I'm sure this has been repeatedly said, and repeatedly not understood. We could actually say "nobody is interested in COR". Or equivalently we could say...

Double Fish Volant Phoenix black H40 2.1, weight 74g with protective sheet, measured Shore O hardness 52, or 52-53 on my-own-personal-scale.
  19. Sponge Hardness new Video

Hey Duke, important is not the number, but the relation to other rubbers, which we get via those numbers.
  20. DHS fans unite!

I've ordered the Double Fish Volant Phoenix H40. High hopes, but as usual, it will take time until I glue it and try it. I'm writing this because while looking at it, I noticed the Double Fish Polestar - supposed to be faster, and used by Liu Shiwen. You can get it at www.pingpongbolt.hu.
