  1. I tried to ask ChatGPT TT questions

What is it doing by Stephen Wolfram. Attention is all you need. Cheers.
  2. Shoes without heightened heel

I like these. I don't recommend them in the usual "shoes discusssions", because they are comparatively "low-level", harder, and not as grippy as the concurrence. I just happen to like these a lot. I don't mind harder "polstering", and if I need more grip, I use different shoes. Yes, zero drop.
  3. Enough of the spam bots!

How exactly does that filter work? The thing is, the way you describe it - humans tricking software - it is not the filter I meant. I thought it would be good simply if every new user would have to be accepted by a human admin. The other stuff I fully agree with you, about the links, about...
  4. I tried to ask ChatGPT TT questions

Soon spammers are going to ask ChatGPT, hey, write me couple of TT bullshit posts, so that I can get accepted and post my bullshit links...
  5. Enough of the spam bots!

If the admin(s) say/decide: OK, you seem to "TTD-valid" :-). Then yes. If not, then not. I meant it so that when a new user comes, he is in "entering" state. Admin(s) decide if he get to "accepted" or "rejected" state. Normal users see posts only from "accepted" users. This doesn't make the...
  6. Enough of the spam bots!

It's a shit work. Why is not so that first say 3 posts are not visible to "normal" users. Only to you - admin? So you can decide. That delay alone may significantly increase the barrier for getting the reward, and decrease their motivation :-) Suga Suga Suga
  7. Spin and speed comparison of rubber/ply [video]

Great job, a lot of work. Why does the trajectory of the balls (red, blue) differ consistently already before the contact with the bat? I'd expect them to be "statistically" the same. And then we would see the difference in rubbers, after the bat contact. But if the "red" balls already hit the...
  8. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

The [] button will toggle to the mode, and make the ribbon enabled. Imho this mode-toggle button deserves place at the main ribbon.
  9. Which cleaner do you like?

Friend in club uses car window foam (Scheibenreiniger). I use it too, put a bit of foam, spread, then spray water (from water-cleaner bottle :-)) and wipe it all out. The foam bottle lasts years.
  10. Ideas for exercises that help with irregular footwork?

For me there are 2 things important, which I'll try to name and then say more: 1. move back so that I can move forward (and not the other way round) 2. stand wider and lower As you know, it is much easier to move forward than to move backward. Playing the ball on the hells feels bad. When the...
  11. What is the spinniest ESN hybrid rubber for Joola Flash ball? (seamless ball)

Nooooo... That post made me pick the scale and my setup is now only 202g. I thought its 208g. The world is seriously broken... And armwrestling with Der KOMMT NICHT IN FRAGE!!!
  12. how durable are chinese rubbers?

Why didn't you ask this question in the thread "Chinese rubbers", which you have started 3 hours ago?
  13. How rubber properties affect throw

Obviously grip/tack helps, e.g. if you try a premade bat, you see no grip, can't take/drag the ball, we'd say low throw. That is somewhat obvious, let's leave it at that. Now the racquet contains the blade, which is relatively hard, and the rubber, which is relatively soft. Let's say you hit FH...
  14. SDC Handmade Blades

+1 for this question. I didn't have the courage to ask. If HL5 is cca 1290Hz and W968 is cca 1360Hz, with the same composition, would you achieve it by bigger thickness, or by other means? It is really interesting, you know I have Vodak Horejsi ALC with the same composition. I really like it...
  15. Rubber throw angle topic again.

No. Choosing slower rubber, or blade, or both would help. If I remember correctly, you used to play with H3? But then you switched to T5. Why not take H3 in H37-H39 back, or some other slower rubber? T5 is not slow enough. You should not have the feeling you need to constrain yourself.
  16. KTS Coach shows how to NOT be tight on FH Topspin

Both ML and WCQ have perfect FH, but I think there are some differences. I think on average WCQ tends to be tilted more forwards, i.e. having feet planted a tiny bit more back than where ML's would be. Also perhaps he tends to stand a bit wider on average. And one more difference is that on...
  17. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

No, I just tried on your post. Excellent, thanks!
  18. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

Thanks, it's useful for me. Another setting which I'd welcome is something like "Clear notification when I open the thread". I'll try to explain. Sometimes I interact with the thread, and I get notifications, but I don't go to the thread via the click on notification, because already on the...
  19. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

Yes, the forum posts. If I remember correctly, there used to be a setting "Thread view", with options. I set "Latest first" long time ago. It's good if you follow a thread, you see someone posts (perhaps even with notification), you make 1 click and see it. I'd expect it should be the default :-)
