  1. Please advise a racket worth ± $ 50

How is the speed of hk1997 vs ak47? Is it the same sponge but just harder version? Because they have the same package design, and they are often sold within the same product page online.
  2. Boosted Bryce vs Ten/Dig, which is faster?

So ESN relies on booster to get the same level of speed as Butterfly? Why doesn't BTY boost their rubber to give even more performance? You said that speed glued Bryce is faster, but what about regular booster?
  3. Boosted Bryce vs Ten/Dig, which is faster?

After 4 weeks of play, how much will a Tenergy/Dignics decrease in speed? (i'm guessing with some factory boosting wearing off) Is a booster depleted Ten/Dig basically the same speed as the old Bryce?
  4. Boosted Bryce vs Ten/Dig, which is faster?

Just wondering, is the benefit of Tenergy/Dignics that it doesn't require additional boosting? Or is it also faster than the old Bryce w/ boosting? Which is faster, Bryce boosted or Tenergy/Dignics out of package?
  5. Just tried Rxton 5 and T3

I gave my Rxton 5 just a thin layer of baby oil just to remove the extremely hard feeling. but if you play your rxton 5 without the seamoon, does it feel extremely hard to you?
  6. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Which is faster, the Arthur China or Hurricane 8-80/Rakza Z? Is Rakza Z a bouncy/fast rubber? I read some comments that said Jupiter 3 is actually a faster hybrid rubber than Rakza Z.
  7. Just tried Rxton 5 and T3

You mean that they have the same Rxton 5 topsheet, but have a different sponge? Actually that makes sense, because in my opinion, Rxton 5 sponge is very hard/dense. For me, the overwhelming impression I got from using Rxton 5 was that it was extremely hard. The Loki 9 star rubber looks more...
  8. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

For me, my favorite rubbers are tacky and spinny, but also bouncy without being boosted. So it sounds like Arthur China might be a good candidate.
  9. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

But its not really budget, right? I think its like $24 on Aliexpress. But from your description and video, it makes me want to try the Arthur China. What do you pair it with on your BH?
  10. Just tried Rxton 5 and T3

I just looked, I don't think its Rxton 5. I think its' Rxton 1, which is available for like $7 a sheet on Aliexpress.
  11. Just tried Rxton 5 and T3

My Rxton 5 sponge is orange, same as commercial H3 rubber. What about Lodro?
  12. Please advise a racket worth ± $ 50

If you want a wood blade, you can get good Sanwei or Yinhe blades for $20 or 30 on Aliexpress. If you want a carbon blade, I would personally recommend Stuor or Lemuria blades. Very impressed by the quality and play of these.
  13. Dignics (05,80, 64,) alternative, is there such a thing? (No 09C)

Is there really such a big difference between Dignics and ESN? I've hit with Dignics a few times, but I never felt it was levels apart from common ESN rubbers like Rakza, MXP, Fastarc, etc.
  14. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Definitely, this rubber is quite unusual and awkward. Once you make some adjustments, it does have potential. If you saw the video I posted of my 1 game, I was using GTX, so its not a complete failure of a rubber. I was hitting some forehand loops today, and people we're saying how much topspin...
  15. Anybody tried Yinhe Mercury 3?

I tried this rubber but found it extremely disappointing. Quite soft and slow, but probably very nice for beginners.
  16. What is the purpose of Chinese Penhold blade?

Japanese penhold blades are actually designed exclusively for penhold style. But what is the purpose of the Chinese penhold blade? I have a CP blade, but as far as I can tell, all it has is just a shorter handle. In fact I sometimes even just hold it shakehand and play that way. What is the...
  17. new equipment for 2022/23

interesting that they decided to go with Kevlar-Carbon. I don't think I know many pros using Kevlar-Carbon blades. Mostly hear about ALC and ZLC.
  18. new equipment for 2022/23

Looks a lot like a Fang Bo Carbon. Is she actually using this blade?
  19. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

After a bit more testing, I am starting to like the GTX rubber. Out of package, it suffers from 2 problems. It is not bouncy and feels very dead, and it has a very flat trajectory. It feels quite hard to spin the ball into the table. After 2 light layers of booster, the GTX becomes much...
