  1. US Open Table Tennis Championships-2023

I feel Ma Jinbao plays better than his rating. Congrats to him. Also, why are there so many Japanese players in the US open? Do they live here in the US for work or something? Or do they travel over here just for the tournament?
  2. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

Is there a reason the tournament is in 2024 but is titled 2023?
  3. Bloom Power on FH, Bloom ? on BH

If you want the most catapult, then AK47 red or Moon 12 are both great without booster.

  7. What are your TT goals for 2024?

Happy New Year! One final rally to remember the 2023 year! It was year of the block. Next year will be year of the loop attack https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx-2SwtY2tlfFDs2aZQG0YubbaoPXbtVf1?si=Y5k24Z0ckXAEu_it
  8. What are your TT goals for 2024?

Good idea. I should probably do some endurance training too. I'm always out of breath during longer rallies.
  9. What are your TT goals for 2024?

That sounds like a very good and concrete goal, within achievable range. 1700TTR is like 1900 USATT? or more? What specific aspects of your game do you need to improve?
  10. What are your TT goals for 2024?

That's a good one. Take some videos of your Fang Bo style rallies
  11. What are your TT goals for 2024?

Happy New Years to everyone. What are your New Year's goals for 2024? Please share to inspire the rest of us. My goal for 2023 was to get to 1900 level. For most of 2023, I felt like I was hovering around the 1820-1850 level. I would fairly easily defeat 1800 players, but I wasn't always...
  12. What are the must try composite blades from common Chinese brands such as DHS, Yinhe, SANWEI and Sword?

That makes sense. I recently got the Sanwei 75 inner, which is the same composition as the Yinhe 970alc. I really really like this blade. It's similar to inner fibre blades like HL5, but it just has a bit extra snappiness, a bit more meshy trampoline feel. The blocks feel great, real punchy...
  13. Rxton 5 Pro

Rxton 5 pro may in fact just be a boosted version of the same rxton 5. They have some 1H-2T technology code that i dont understand. Anybody know what this means? Like 2 layers of booster?
  14. What are the must try composite blades from common Chinese brands such as DHS, Yinhe, SANWEI and Sword?

Pretty much exactly what I said, F3 pro is somewhat flexier and has more dwell time. Its slightly less snappy in response time, but still gives plenty of speed. Both are perfectly fine with chinese tacky rubber on both sides. I had h3 and h8 on the backhand and it was working well
  15. Rxton 5 Pro

Do you plan on boosting the R3 Pro? How bouncy is it unboosted? is it as bouncy as D09c?
  16. Sanwei on AliExpress?

don't worry. You will definitely get your money back. In all my years, I have never once lost a Aliexpress dispute.
  17. Rxton 5 Pro

How is the unboosted rebound of the R3 Pro? How is the grip?
  18. Rxton 5 Pro

That's lame, and frustrating and inconsistent. My Rxton 3 Pro feels quite hard, similar to the Battle Max 40d
  19. Looping every long serve

Maybe my next step is to start looping harder. I have found that for players around the 1800 level, they are equally troubled by a hard loop vs a 70% power loop. Most of the time, especially from the bh, I don't go for a hard loop but just use my 70% to open the point. I usually win a lot of...
