I’m about to glue a H9 38 deg violet and what I noticed is that DHS is still incredibly inconsistent with quality control. This one is measured at 54 degrees in Shore O despite needing to be at around 50.

Rozena is a watered down T05 so i recommend that but why not try it with your current Rozena rubbers first? It’s overall a better blade so it might just suffice your goal

I’m also looking for a linear tacky rubber but overall faster than Rakza Z. It can be less tacky too.

Does anyone know what sort of rubber Chen Yuanyu uses on the backhand? It seems to have a yellowish sponge. Is it H3 or perhaps a Stiga rubber?

generally very grippy or even sticky rubbers like Hurricane and hybrids like D09c, Tibhar Hybrid K3, Andro Nuzn, etc…

They’re glued together differently and the quality of the wood is different. It’s very different and not catapulty at all, very linear.

Do you think FZD is testing D09c on the forehand because he’s not supplied his personal H3 anymore since he’s out of the national team? BTF can just make him a custom D09c harder than his current backhand 09c which is already harder than the commercial version.
