Returning to the sport – bit of advice would be great
Stiga Liner 2 shoe is very good. If you want something more firm but also grippy then Xiom 18 footwork shoes.

7-ply wood blades – Comparison
if you want a slower 7 ply blade, you can try the Xiom Solo. It is koto outer with ayous inner plies but feels like a softer clipper wood and slower.

Rubber for much older players used to pre-built paddles?
Go with lighter blades. Sanwei Dynamo is a balsa wenge blade then just glue with sanwei taiji or ultraspin.

Evolution on Carbonado
The 90/45 versions are control types of carbon blades. Even if you place mxp on them they are not too fast.

Please help me to select and build a paddle
The pg7 is a safe bet because despite being a 7 ply all wood blade, it has flex and control you need to develop your strokes.

If you are just developing your strokes, do not get the f3 pro as it is very fast for a beginner or it is stiff.

Footwork for push to loop transition
Whatever your racket is that will be the foot you will also be stepping forward when handling short strokes, i.e., receiving short serves, doing dropshots, flicks, etc.

Hurricane is still spinnier than cyklin. Did not weigh the cyklin after cutting but it is lighter than dhs h3.

Acoustic or petr korbel?
I like the feel of the Acoustic better. Also, it seems to have more flex than Korbel.
