What is the point if xiom will just make an almost similar rubber to their previous line of rubbers? They have to innovate or make a rubber that is more suited for today's game.
When will the O7T be available? I tried the O7tour on softer blades like Stradivarius and the Zx series they seem to be good combinations since the hardness of the O7T does not need super stiff fast blades. Even if you use a soft 5 ply all wood blade, the O7T will still a bit hard.
Nice blades but they are kinda heavy. Maybe lessen the thickness of the plies? Also, aside from drying the wood in the sun or kiln drying them, what are the other ways to reduce moisture on the wood?
The O7A is better with mediu. Hard blades and people should as much as possible not use very stiff and hard blades on it. It goes well with alc blades.
When you boost the rubber it softens up the sponge enabling the ball to sink deeper and the topsheet and sponge grabbing the ball better increasing the spin. That is beside the better energy transfer from rubber to the ball.
