  1. Top 10 Points - 2017 US National Team Trials

Hello all! It's been a long time and I've been horrendously busy working with USATT to roll out a ton of new media stuff. We are in the process of overhauling our old and cobweb filled YouTube channel and have produced our first Top 10 video, along with 21 match highlight videos from the US...
  2. samsonov equipment's 2016 - 2017

Ok well I don't think I'm going to get a new set of pics. He is using MX-P and MX-S and the Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition blade. He said it's possible that he may change blade soon as there may be some new things coming out. With regard to the 'national' rubber, it is a well known fact that...
  3. samsonov equipment's 2016 - 2017

Ok I got him to send me them but they were out of focus so I had to be a pain in the ass and ask him to retake them lol. While you wait here is a picture of Joo Sae Hyuks backhand to keep you occupied and distracted :P
  4. samsonov equipment's 2016 - 2017

I can ask him for a pic of his racket if you want. Let me see what I can do.

  6. Training camp in Zhengding

Glad to see you guys are making the most of your training experience there :D The best thing about Zhengding (and China in general) is that it changes the way you approach training, even long after you leave there. I was there in July 2015, it was a very good training trip.
  7. Visiting Hong Kong and South China for about 2 weeks

    My last day in China on this trip. Always finding a new place to play, it has been an exciting couple of weeks! :) <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version="7" style=" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px...

  11. Marcos Freitas using Marcos Freitas ALC

Nobody is here to earn style points this isn't the X Factor it's a table tennis forum.
  12. Marcos Freitas using Marcos Freitas ALC

Consider him vouched for, the mytt account is not related to him at all. He's a junior player from New Zealand and like most developing young players in my homeland there isn't a lot of education around equipment or always good available options. So ease off a little, he's not a troll, he's...
  13. 2016 US Open

Finals are on tonight at 7:30pm ;)
  14. Meeting The Future Stars - STIGA Video Series

Truls is extraordinary, I remember him from the 2013 World Hopes Team and he was already proving himself as a promising future star for the European continent and he has improved in leaps and bounds since then. Hope he can put Sweden back at the top one day!
  15. Training Camp in China

I went to Zhengding and Beijing last year and it was a really great experience. I was training for just over 3 weeks and it made an enormous impact on my form :)
  16. USA Table Tennis

She doesn't compete domestically, not for a long time (I have never seen her play domestic in NZ in over 15 years) but she played for NZ and came back after retirement and continued to compete. She is still regarded as one of the best yes, but it's hard to gauge her level against some of the new...
  17. USA Table Tennis

Haha yes I've heard many stories from Chunli about her time in Japan, she still gets a good laugh out of telling us about she beat half the men playing at the time :P
  18. USA Table Tennis

That's a shame, Japan used to have an incredibly lucrative and high level Super Circuit back in the day for many years which attracted players from all over the world, the likes of Primorac, Persson, Kim Taek Soo, Samsonov etc.
  19. USA Table Tennis

They certainly have talent here, the current level of the cadets is fairly strong and the junior girls have excelled in recent years (2 bronze medals last 2 years WJC teams) A paid professional league in my mind is the only answer. Foreign countries limit the number of foreign players in each...
  20. USA Table Tennis

England has a national league system in place and strong regional leagues. USA doesn't really have that. Also as mentioned above England is in Europe so once the players reach the top of the British League they can try and find clubs and work their way up through league systems in Germany...
