    They do have a difference in terms of durability ang longevity. I am hoping the new bluestorm series will be better in terms of longevity than mxp.

    Extra is just like a rubber in butterfly hobby bats but thicker. Go with a better rubber like sriver 1.9mm which has a better bounce and grip on the ball.

    Forget about bluefire. The Z1 Bluestorm feels like mxp but better with more spin, grip and speed. I am hoping it would be durable too.

    43 has shorter trajectory than 48, but it is still very fast. 2 friends of mine who are used to fast rubbers tried both z1 and r43, they can control the z1 better.

    The ultra 48 in particular has a very strong catapult but it is more controllable than the karis H. I find the karis H hard to control and choosy in blade matching.

    I had the rasanters before but they seem to have a different topsheet and sponge. The rhyzers are worth it but it takes time to adjust and recommend to use all wood or carbon aramid and arylate blades on it

    2018 seems to be the year very good ESN rubbers will compete. the Z1 bluestorm, Omega vii pro and Rhyzers are all very good and impressive so far. They are a class above the Rasanters with each specific characteristics.

    Tony, have you tried the intro? The intro seems to be a good replacement for europe and elite vegas when they stop producing the vega rubbers. Te musa 3 can replace the vega pro and japan.

    If you can find the musa 3 at 2.0mm then it is a better rubber than mark v. Also the price is almost the same. I could have suggested vega intro but it is not easy to find a dealer for it.
