Usually xiom gives out samples to me about 4 pcs minimum pero rubber but in the case of omega vii they only gave me 2 pcs because the supply is very limited.
I mean too much tackiness like the ball can stick to the rubber surface fir 5 sec is not good that is why i prefer the semi tacky purple box h3 provincial. I am also using a hurricane 3 which is tacky in my other blade so i am into tacky rubbers but not the ones that has too much tackiness.
I still think mxp is still the top tibhar rubber. People have not switched to then quantum rubbers and i do not think they will with the new one. Imo, the hybrid k1 rubbers are being liked more by players than the quantum series.
I'd only go max for a beginner if it is a chinese rubber . If he will be using a tensor, 2.0mm is enough. People need to realize at beginner stage, the use.of thick sponges cannot be maximized due to under developed strokes and ball contact especially brushing.
