  1. Rasanter R47

Review by 'yogi_bear' on item 'Rasanter R47'

This is the 2nd fastest Rasanter rubber. This is slightly spinnier than the V47 version and has a higher arc. The topsheet grips the ball fairly good enough. This has a lesser spin compared to MX-P but better control. This is still very spinny. Also, the MX-P is still faster than this rubber but...
  2. Rasanter R42

3 out of 5 rating for Rasanter R42 The R42 is almost similar to the Joola Rhyzm 425 except that it feels softer. Sponge is medium soft and you can feel the ball sink into the sponge everytime you have a hit with it. It produces above average spin and a medium arc when looping the ball. The R42...

  4. Attacking against long pimples

just practice serving underspin against an lp player and then learn to attack topspin or no spin when it comes back. that is a good way to start on how to learn to attack against LP. you would need to adjust on how hard you would brush the ball.
  5. Rasanter R37

3 out of 5 rating for Rasanter R37 The softest Rasanter among the 6 variants and also the slowest. It is slower than the Rasant Beat and also has less spin. The Rasant Beat was softer but it offered more spin and grip on the ball and it was more bouncy. Even at max thickness this rubber can be...

The softest Rasanter among the 6 variants and also the slowest. It is slower than the Rasant Beat and also has less spin. The Rasant Beat was softer but it offered more spin and grip on the ball and it was more bouncy. Even at max thickness this rubber can be controlled by intermediate level...
  7. Joola Rhyzm P

it feels softer than the rhyzm 48. good control and very spinny but topsheet seems to wear off faster than the original rhyzm 48
  8. Stiga Eternity VPS - anyone has it? any reviews?

if you have the Eternity VPS please, please, please SEAL IT!
  9. Multi-balls training with 1 Star ball or 3 Stars?

the new sanwei 1 star polyballs are good training balls and much better than the 1 star yinhe polyballs. tried them doing multiball drill and they are durable enough.
  10. Tibhar CCA7

the force pro blue handle is slow like off- only. the force pro black feels more crispy when you are hitting with it but yes i found the cca7 is easier to control than the force pro black.
  11. Tibhar CCA7

a bit odd of a feeling because the cca7 is fasterthan force pro black but it feels softer overall.
  12. New defensive blade - Nexy Cakra

white ash seems to be a good defensive outer ply. the actium has white ash layer also in the other side and for me it chops better than the acacia side.
  13. Galaxy V-14

more on TBS but a bit faster. the one i tried was heavier at 93 grams.
  14. Ding Ning using a Carbonado at China Open!

Ding Ning is not sponsored by Stiga either so I think it was her personal choice to move to Carbonado 45?
  15. New defensive blade - Nexy Cakra

oh they made another combination defensive blade again.
  16. Thinking about getting this setup, any suggestions

baracuda 1.9mm for the fh is fine. it is not as sensitive as the max version although i agree there are other rubbers that would be easier for him to use like mark v.
  17. Thinking about getting this setup, any suggestions

if I were you i would make the baracuda as my forehand rubber because it is spinnier and slower than the rasant. also, make the rasant at 1.9mm thickness.
  18. Choosing the right blade / determining blade speed info

sorry, i thought those were u.s. ratings. LOL. my mistake not reading on the whole paragraph.
  19. is this combination good?

yeah it is ok. the blade is not fast at all and only the rubbers so you would have some kind of control but it all depends on your level.
  20. Choosing the right blade / determining blade speed info

all are good except that I do not agree on a person having a rating of 1500 to have an off+ blade. I would rather believe the off+ blades are for 2000+ ratings.
