Do you think you are good enough? Is it really helpful to tell people they're not good? Some players may think pips-out rubber should be banned for various reasons, and their opinions deserve respect, and that does not mean they are not good!

IMO, yes. I believe that his rival, Waldner, likely trained just as hard as him. Their skill & athleticism might be very close (this could answer the next question). However, LGL equipment gave him a slight edge. It was judged to be too advantageous.

Agreed that returning serves can be easier with LP. I have friends in my club started with LP for this reason, I asked. It seems that they just block any serve and the ball safely drop to the other side. But I'm not sure for advanced level.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Ayhika & Sreeja haven't won any but Liu Guoliang, Ni Xialian, Han Ying & some more pips-out players have won many top tournaments incl. WTT.

It's almost like two different sports e.g. cricket & baseball, rugby & american football, netball & basketball etc. So how about separating them to ping pong & table tennis? 😂 One includes special equipments like LP, anti and the like, the latter standard equipments.
