I second that. I would just get Hurricane 3 regular or Hurricane 3 neo, 39 degree. I have a sheet of Battle II provincial blue sponge somewhere. It is a bit too hard for me (the sponge and/or the to sheet). I think I will put it on a spare blade.

Then get Rozena. The hardness is about the same as 42 ESN degree. Don't get Glayzer 09c. It is not worth the money for a developing player. there are better rubbers out there such as Rakza 7, Fastarc C-1 or Fastarc G-1 or BlueFire which is all a lot cheaper than Glayzer 09c.

if you looking for a budget, then I agree with the Xiom Vega series. I would recommend either Xiom Vega Europe which is soft and without too much catapult, or Xiom Vega Japan which for extra couple dollars has good speed and soft top sheet. Fastarc C-1 is good too. But more expensive than Xiom.

I think TG2 is slower than TG3. I have a batch of TG2 that seems to be from a couple years ago. They are quite tacky. The TG3 I have seem to the newer less tacky version.
