  1. Is Ai Fukuhara a Villain?

What is up with her relationship with Oya Hidetoshi that got him expelled from JNT?
  2. 60 y.o. Ni Xialian won SF/F WTT Feeder Havirov 2023

I have no problems with people playing with pips. I mean Joo Sae-hyuk was such an exciting player to watch. I actually hate that ITTF are banning some of the pimple rubbers. When the blade has two colors to distinguish which side is which, to me, that is fair game. I use inverted on both...
  3. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

Funny you asked. I just installed Ak47 blue (the softest sponge) on the backhand of one blade and CJ8000 (don't know the sponge hardness because it does NOT say anything about that on the sponge or the packaging; you just get what you are going to get) on the backhand of another blade. I tried...
  4. Most controllable Tenergy rubber?

I have T05fx, T64fx and T80fx. Agree. If you want to block, T64fx is the best out of the three. if you want to loop, the T05fx. The fx version makes it really bouncey even at low speed so if you are not careful, you can easily push the ball out. When I use G-1, it is more linear and I could feel...
  5. Spin variation from long pips pushes - how to read?

Here is the video. And the answer is cut and pasted below, from the comment section of the video: @assa1975 2 months ago Nice vid, thanks! As an LP user, however, I am a bit surprised how general your approach towards 'funny rubbers' was. One of the first thing they teach for an LP (modern)...

    Bravo!!!!!
  8. How not to lose the level without training.

Interesting. Do you use virtual reality products made by Meta or another company? I am clueless. Thanks!
  9. Xiom vega europe - Tibhar elternative

I really do not know about Aurus regular, Aurus prime and Aurus soft. I think one of the semi-moderators here love Aurus series. Maybe he can chime in. Do you want something faster or about the same as Vega Europe? If you want something faster, I would recommend FX-S from Tibhar revolution series.
  10. How not to lose the level without training.

Are you serious? Is that meant to be a sarcastic comment?
  11. Xiom vega europe - Tibhar elternative

I am more familiar with Revolution series. Even the softness and the slowest ones (FX-S and FX-P) are faster and more catapulty than Xiom Vega Europe. Any reason you want a Tibhar equivalent? Are you limited by what your local stores offer?
  12. How do you know if your Yinhe Mercury 2 (or II) has 2.0mm sponge or 2.2mm sponge?

I think the special is from GHSport and you are only allowed to buy one sheet at 0.99? Normally it is $5 but when taken into import tax and some fees, it is about $6 a sheet. I am glad you have tried it more extensively and it does not last as long as H3. I really think that if boosted and if...
  13. How do you know if your Yinhe Mercury 2 (or II) has 2.0mm sponge or 2.2mm sponge?

I will weigh them before I put one black sheet on the forehand (heavier) and put one red sheet on the backhand (ligher), and just let me see how it goes!
  14. Rasanter R42 & R45 alternatives

I have not tried it. On the forum someone mentioned that it is made by Daiki factory in Japan. In other words, almost all tensors rubbers are made in Germany's ESN factory (the name of the company, in literally abbreviation, is ESN). So some people would argue the Fastarc series, Revolutions...
  15. How do you know if your Yinhe Mercury 2 (or II) has 2.0mm sponge or 2.2mm sponge?

Lol, with the weight difference, I might even venture to say it is 2.0mm +/- 0.2mm to 0.3mm. :) :)
  16. Loki Rxton III Pink Review

I think language barrier is an issue. They start learning English early on but they emphasize grammar and stuff like that, but not speaking or listening. Agree. Taiwan teams have done very well in teams' events. I would put them right around Japan and Korea as well even though Japan has a much...
  17. Loki Rxton III Pink Review

Great! Looking forward to your future content. There is a lot of TT coaching channels coming out of Japan and China. Taiwan obviously is a powerhouse in table tennis as well. I will be very curious in what they have to say about coaching and competing. I would love to see some matches of their...
  18. How do you know if your Yinhe Mercury 2 (or II) has 2.0mm sponge or 2.2mm sponge?

Ok I gave up. I put two sheets from NewNew store 2.2mm on my scale. One read 62.5 grams and other one read 63.5 grams. I am like, ok ok. The I put two sheets from BEO store 2.0mm on my scale. One read 70 grams and the other read 65 grams! I give up. I guess for $6 to $11 a sheet, I cannot...
  19. Loki Rxton III Pink Review

I am a bad person to answer that question for now. I had a Big Dipper 40 degree black and I hated it. It feels like a brick. On the other hand, I do like Sanwei Target National so if someone wants to go from ESN to Chinese rubber, I would advise them to give STN a try before moving all the way...
  20. How do you know if your Yinhe Mercury 2 (or II) has 2.0mm sponge or 2.2mm sponge?

For $2, I don't think it matters. On a more serious note, I put Mercury II 2.0mm on my blades (the batch from BEO store for about $5.50 each) and I was pleasantly surprised. Could it be bouncier? Sure. Is it spinny? Yes as spinny as Hurricane 3. Now that's why I have been looking for 2.2mm...
