  1. H3 not so tacky?

Yes I heard MX-P is a great T05 replacement but if it looses grip after 3 months, you will end up paying more for MX-P than for T05!
  2. H3 not so tacky?

Lol, I think DHS found out we are bragging here about H3 topsheet staying tacky for 1-2 years and they decided, enough is enough. We need to make the topsheet less tack so they will buy more sheets every 2-3 months!
  3. Looking for an advice for my new bat

You gotta get what you can get. If Yinhe N11s is all wood blade with decent speed, then yes, go ahead and get that. Chinese rubber, it is known that black is more spinny, at least for DHS that is the case. So I am extrapolating that to Yinhe and Sanwei as well. that's why I am specific that...
  4. H3 not so tacky?

I forgot who said it on the other threads. That is why I ordered two black sheets of TG3 neo from Aliexpress. And if the sheets are tacky, I might just order 30 more sheets.....I think. Or I might have to switch to Mercury II and boost the heck out of it.
  5. H3 not so tacky?

It is on another thread. I heard the rumors that new hurricane is not as tacky. As a result, I have ordered H3 neo Skyline from aliexpress but it takes forever for the shipment to arrive.
  6. Rubbers on fh with lower throw arc

ok, maybe the problem is the blade. I loved G-1 when I used it as my backhand rubber for four years while using my 5-ply all wood Tibhar Stratus Power Wood. It is linear. Really not that much catapult compared to other ESN rubber. So either change to 5-ply all wood and try G-1 Or keep carbon...
  7. Looking for an advice for my new bat

I agree. Any cheap 5-ply wood blade made by Sanwei or Yinhe would be good. If you can get your hands on them, then black Mercury II medium hardness (I think it is 2.0mm by default) on forehand and red Sanwei T88-III training red (I think it is also 2.0mm by default?) on the backhand side.
  8. Recommendations for a beginner + few questions

Ok, I read through all the comments. Here are my thoughts. Return sidespin short service is a "touch" shot. You either slightly touch the ball or you have to do a light brush of the ball over the top to get it over the net. It is a tough serve to return. You cannot "hit" the ball because a...
  9. Is EJing good for improving?

Going back to the original topic, I am not sure if EJ'ing is going to help improving. It depends on your perspective. Just yesterday, I played doubles. I was using DHS Bo carbon with H3 on the forehand and G-1 on the backhand. I played fine. But with the harder carbon, I clearly could not get...
  10. How long would a regular/national DHS 3 last boosted and what's objectively the best booster?

So I have been using Falco Tempo Long for years. The effects (advertised) should last for 2 months. I did not know for Haifu you need to do it every 7 or 14 days. I will find out I guess? Yes after a while, my brain and my muscle memory would get used to the gradual changes to the boosted...
  11. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

Yes I have tried some hybrid rubbers, Tibhar K1 European edition and K2 (K2 is discontinued by tabletennis11 but you can still get it on aliexpress), and other Chinese rubbers such as Sanwei Target Naitonal, Sanwei Target Provincial, Loki Rxton series, and Mercury II. Yet, Mercury II, the...
  12. Should I buy DHS Long 5

So here is how my Chinese coach taught me how to loop underspin with topspin growing up. We agreed to start off with the ball falling down to be the timing where you loop the ball upward. Then I started using my forearm (i.e. at the elbow) joint only. At that point, my elbow is literally...
  13. Ordered simultanoiusly from tabletennis11 and chtt.se

Ok a few things. I love TT11. Their delivery literally takes 5 days to N. America. I don't know how they do it. Dandoy takes a while to ship out. Aliexpress, probably two weeks. So if you need something fast, you know where to go. I would recommend one layer of boost. I have been boosting for...
  14. Flicking with Fastarc G1

I think it is mostly techniques. But it is also equipment. I played with G-1 on my backhand of a 5-ply wood for 4 years. Loved it. Very direct. Push is very spinny. when I block, the ball goes wherever I wanted it to go. It is very "direct." By contrast, I never really liked T05 fx because it...
  15. How long would a regular/national DHS 3 last boosted and what's objectively the best booster?

Watch ThePongProfessor on Youtube. He reviewed all the booster. He liked Haifu Sea Moon National Yellow the most, followed closely second by Falco Tempo Long. He really did not like Haifu sea moon National Black because for the price, it did not do much to the rubber. Honestly I have used Haifu...
  16. Next step to improve: flicking the serve return

Is this the video you are all referring to? Very good video. I have the link because I have not done watching it yet. It is on my list of things to do.....and the list is getting long.
  17. Dignics on a Budget?! | Glayzer vs Glayzer 09C Review

I have not played with Loki T3. So $55 rubber on one hand v.s. $15 rubber on the other hand...lol...I wonder which one I would choose! I should get a Loki T3 just to piss off my clubmates who have bought Glayzer. :) :)
  18. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Yes, people have asked me, don't you noticed it being weird after 2 months when the booster effects wear off? I am like, no. Like you said, my brain and my body might have adapted to the booster wearing off. Unfortunately I have some old sheet of ESN that is still not opened from the original...
  19. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Agree. Booster has no fumes. And supposedly if you use Falco Tempo Long, the catapult effect should last for 2 months. I don't find boosting troublesome at all. I even wait 6 months to boost again. I am just that lazy.....
