  1. Why does ML use soft 37d rubber on bh?

Lol, we have transmitted the EJ virus successfully....via internet....through TTD forum :) :)
  2. Viscaria vs Yinhe V14 Pro

Resurrecting the thread because I am interested in buying an Yinhe blade. Major differences between PRO-01 ALC, PRO-05 Inner KLC Carbon, PRO 11S and V14 PRO. PRO 11S is an asymmetric blade.
  3. Cheap rubbers - Am i missing something?

Resurrecting this thread because I just used a black Mecury II medium hardness rubber for the first time on my forehand with my carbon blade. I really really liked it! Yes it is only $5 a sheet on Aliexpress. I was really shocked. I buy in bulk from TT11 so my 39 degree H3 neo commercial costs...
  4. Combining Andro Ligna CO Off with Soft rubbers

Have you tried flipping the bat over and see how Rakza 7 soft feels on the backhand side. Rakza 7 soft is one of the softness ESN rubber. The other one that is very popular (and very soft) is Xiom Vega Europe. I have a very fast carbon in Nittaku Accoutic carbon and having Xiom Vega Europe on...
  5. DHS fans unite!

Glayser is $55 a piece and Butterfly does not give discount. With 30% bulk discount you can get Fastarc series, Revolutions series and Xiom Vegas series for like $27-$30. I understand that Butterfly is trying to compete. But to me, no touching Glayser. One sheet of Glayser = two sheets of Xiom...
  6. 6 Myths of Table Tennis

Agree. And coaching TT really does not make you that money in N. America. I think the only way to make money in TT (if you are not Ma Long or Fan Zhendong) is through YouTube and social media.
  7. Why does ML use soft 37d rubber on bh?

Agree. When you talk about sponge hardness for Chinese rubber you should throw everything out of the window. I am pretty sure Yinhe has a different scale than DHS which has a different scale than Friendship. I think people harp onto the sponge softness or hardness too much. I agree that your...
  8. Should I buy DHS Long 5

Agree TT11 is great. I still don't know if the OP wants DHS Hurricane Long 5 $159.69 and DHS W968 (Hurricane Long 5 National) $817.50. that is a huge price difference! $159.69, I can swallow. I don't think I will be able to swallow $817.50 for a blade.
  9. Baby Lin vs Baby Harimoto

That just shows some people peak earlier and some people peak later. I don't think Harimoto is done yet. But it seems like as he gets older and stronger, maybe he is less agile and slower in his reflexes. His forehand is getting better, no doubt. He can rally a bit more. But his backhand is...
  10. Need advice for buying my second bat.

I think Tibhar K3 has good reviews. I like EL-S ok. I think that has the best spin/speed ratio. Not sure about MX-P, MX-P 50, MX-S, etc. etc. Many people swear that the Revolution series is the closet thing to Tenergy series. Oh well. I am onto Rakza series and Xiom Vega series right now...
  11. "wrapping" the ball.

I am going to go with brokenball on this one. The ball flies out of Fan Zendong's blade. I really think that the ball only stayed on his blade for minisecond. Lot of it is most likely follow through. Let us say "wrapping" exists. What level of playing are we talking about? And would wrapping...
  12. Need advice for buying my second bat.

I don't like my MX-S right now. A bit harder in terms of hardness and hard to control. I like Xiom Vega X better right now and Rakza 7 soft on my BH. To recycle the MX-S, I plan to put it on my 5-ply wood (Tibhar Stratus Power wood) and my 7-ply wood (Donic Persson Powerplay) blades.
  13. Xiom Vega Korea Review

What did you not like about the X. I have Europe on one paddle's BH and X on another paddle's BH. I think X is faster. I like Europe on a faster carbon blade and X on a slower carbon blade.
  14. Should I buy DHS Long 5

Agree. TT11 is a good shop. It will let you choose. Someone has said on the forum that over time the wood in the blade can dry up so it can feel different. In addition, who knows if there is some supply chain issues and what kind of wood (or substitute) the blade maker might use. Finally, even...
  15. Should I buy DHS Long 5

Which blade are you referring to? On TT11, DHS Hurricane Long 5 is $159.69 and DHS W968 (Hurricane Long 5 National) is $817.50. If you are referring to $159.69, then go for it. If it is $817.50, I just don't think any blade should cost that much. I know you can get it cheaper with connection...
  16. Tournaments with most participants?

Basically for both boys and girls, there is a drop off in participation when you get older. But than raises slightly for U15 event. Interesting.... I know in Taiwan, academic pressure is high. So many kids probably play in elementary school and as they get to middle school and high school, many...
  17. DHS fans unite!

Good set of info. Now I am wondering if I should try H8-80 on the backhand side. Uhm.... H8-80 migh be a bit too heavy for my backhand side.
  18. Need advice for buying my second bat.

Got it. Please tell us how you like your new equipment. Hope they last you for a couple years! But if you want to fine tune it, please let us know.
  19. Need advice for buying my second bat.

Chinese degree of hardness scale is different than ESN scale which is different than Japan/Butterfly scale.
