ALCs are stiffer. The HAL feels softer. Both are stable enough during topspin rallies. Personally I really like the feeling that HAL gives but I play with an ALC because it is less head heavy.

All this would be brilliant! Handles seems to br getting smaller and smaller all the time. Maybe TT players are differente these days... TTGearLab is doing a fine job describing handles but they always exclude the length of the handle.

The player and coach have stated that the media is making things up. I guess it is possible that they are lying, but it is also possible that media got it wrong in the first place and was a bit sensational trigger happy. We can only speculate.

If you truly are an EJ you already know what is going to happen. You will buy the MK Carbon and as soon as you've glued rubbers on it you'll start looking for the best deal on a VS Unlimited. Thats just how it goes and there is no stopping it! ;) May I just hijack, or perhaps broaden, this...

Interesting. I always thought that one of the differences between Boll series and many other Butterfly blades was that the handles have caveties (like the W5 above). The ones Ive tried have felt slightly more head heavy.

Old thread. Any one else had the chance to try it out? How is the balance compared to famous Butterfly models? More or less head heavy? And how are the handles?
