  1. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Kuai Man vs Wang Manyu 2023 CSL
  2. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Anyone with a strong backhand can give Sun Yingsha problems if they play right. Wang Yidi qualifies. Lefties, Kuai Man would be a first for obvious reasons.
  3. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Wang Manyu no, but Chen Xingtong was clearly in her range. The thing is that Chen Xingtong figured out how to play her but didn't have the discipline to execute it consistently. I think if Sun Yingsha watched that match and plays more to the middle to limit the angles, she will do well.
  4. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

To think that it was assumed that this style was completely dead after Mima Ito bear Zhu Yuling... would be interesting to see a ito-Zhu rematch.
  5. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

I think if you watched the match, it was actually a competitive and high quality affair but Lin Shidong is more consistent at that level of play than Alexis is which led to confidence at critical moments which Alexis doesn't have in quite the same way. The biggest single problem that cost...
  6. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

I don't think KM has a chance. SYS can run down those balls. Nah, WCQ is especially notorious for low trajectory topspin, his style works for him and not necessarily anyone else and the issue you are raising, while helped by using hard sponge H3 at max power, requires a style that most of the...
  7. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Looks like Ding Ning and Zhu Yuling got together and had a baby in Kuai Man...
  8. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Kuai Man is sneaky as hell in finding the wide forehand.
  9. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

A guy does a cartwheel to loopkill a serve and you don't replay the point immediately? Seriously?
  10. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

I think ML scarred FZD so much that no one can really appreciate FZD the way I think he should be appreciated. Harimoto, I put an asterisk next to because by 18-19, it was clear that his technical and ball reading forehand issues were making him susceptible to lower rated losses. But FZD was a...
  11. Harimoto: "It's presumptuous to call it a rivalry." (#1135)

So based on her current form, would you still have tried to get her not to take the injection at the Olympics?
  12. HOT DAMN !!! This coach teaches FH Slow/Heavy loop exactly every key point Der_Echte values !!!

I suspect if you presented video, you would find that Amayzde was right and you were wrong (the short balls would be high and attackable, or would actually be long balls that you read as short balls because of inexperience).
  13. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

He wasn't lucky, he is almost the most physically talented player in the world and extremely creative. Probably the only player in Europe with a legitimate chance of beating Chinese players consistently at his best because his ball quality and defense need to be respected. If he learns how to...
  14. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

It's like the fact that Chen Xingtong showed up as a last minute replacement for Wang Manyu and therefore didn't go through serious training has no impact on your assessment. In any case, I would have been surprised if we didn't get the obligatory Hirano puff piece.
  15. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Something about the environment or the ball is really rewarding spinny play.
  16. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Looks like Hayata is trying to make zeio miserable. The Chinese had better right the ship or zeio's infamous Tieba users might all have a heart attack.
  17. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

This is an old recommendation that unfortunately the ittf has shown no interest in.
  18. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Looking at He Zhuojia's draw, she barely survives Sreeja Akula at deuce in the 5th, then she blanks Harimoto and Shin. Makes you wonder...
  19. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

There is always time to prepare the major team better.
