I can go whole games and almost full matches these days without ever serving a backhand serve. That's just weird to me.... In fact, if I serve a backhand serve, it is often a sign I am in trouble or need to try something new.
If you have no video, it never happened. Seriously. The number of things I remember wrong before looking at the tape is amazing. Stop being Boogarsaurus.
Latest standings.

One more day of competition. If you want, you can PM me your email addresses.
OF course it is inferior technique. The Chinese will tell you that. But you see it in a lot of good French and German players, especially the famous lefties. They still use more whip and body to back it up, but I use it as a variation or in certain situations. My main stroke is straight arm...
I play in pip city you know (Philadelphia). We had a 2300 player well before my time who was a national 060 champ with your combo on a thick balsa shakehand racket, and I know one player who maxed out at 2300 who doesn't play as much who had an extremely tricky and off speed game with the same...
The last kid I played who used one was a student of Ernesto. It's popularity probably grew in the 40mm ball era and I am pretty sure it is a reasonable blade now.
Looks great, SchemeSC. Some advice I would like to give you but it could come across all wrong over the internet. But I will try anyways.
The main thing is to play around with the ball quality in terms of spin, speed and arc. Try to see if you can impart more spin sometimes and get a slower...
I like the overall message but a couple of things are important to note.
One advantage of Pips is that they can be used to force a short game, but amongst inverted players, the short game is largely non-existent under USATT 2000 and doesn't last more than one or two shots below USATT 2400...
A 2000 player I know uses one and some kids use them until they get the physical strength to loop with slower blades. None of the players I know who used it had great short games, which is why I think some better players may not like the Sardius.
As someone who had complained about people who make negative comments about your videos, yours is an interesting statement to say the least.
In any case, thanks for vouching does him. I agree with Baal.
Thanks. As for leaving the thread, I've already done that a couple of times already and won't hesitate to do so if I feel things are becoming unproductive. He is not malicious but he won't win style points with his approach.
