  1. Nexy Akrasia

I looped with it once and found it too fast. Couldn't arc the ball safely.
  2. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

XP 2008 is fine. Der Echte has an all round backhand and played with it at 1900+ level. I personally prefer SPW to YEO but you need to try SPW (borrow one) and see if it fits. I personally would recommend that you stick with what you are using now for 4-12 months, ideally at least 6 months...
  3. "Best" glue advice

Revolution #3 I think is the most popular.
  4. "Best" glue advice

I actually disagree with Carl on how strong VarioClean is - the other glues I have tried or seen on other people's blades are much worse. I have never sealed any of my blades and VarioClean is easier to remove if you use an unnecessarily thick layer as many players do.
  5. How did you decide Chinese versus Tensor rubber on FH?

Battle 2 is cheap. Just buy it and try it. For the blocks, you have to block/counter weak loops more actively. Like I said, I decided that I block too passively on my forehand so I stopped using Big Dipper. But any route you choose is fine, but if you stick with it, you have to counter...
  6. why can we still buy vicaria?

And here I was thinking that I was playing table tennis and everything was what it seemed...
  7. Fake Tenergy

I actually was sold fake Tenergy once by a Butterfly dealer.
  8. Butterfly G40+ Plastic Ball Review

Same weight and bounce height. I think that I will ultimately prefer the G40+ because coming through the table helps my blocking game - I hate the way the XSF ball sometimes holds up vs celluloid. It shows up when all of a sudden, my muscle memory kicks in when I am using a Nittaku Premium and...
  9. Need more spin after the plastic ball!

Spin with your current technique has gone out the door, Spin with your current technique ain't coming back no more...
  10. TT-Training FUN-Video - Marcos Freitas feeling exercices, "magic tricks", giant bat

As SchemeSC said, it is more of a resonance thing. A bouncy TT Ball will help the best so use a seamless or a G40+ so that once you get the ball in resonance, only mild grip pressure adjustments need to be made to keep the bouncing going. IT's more like bouncing a ball at a low height above...
  11. Share your Racket's Photo

I made my setup to play against loopers too. And choppers and pips blockers. It is pretty effective vs all styles if the opponent is at my level or below :p.
  12. How do fake blades perform?

The message was so important that Carl had to say it twice. "COUNTERFEITING IS BAD! COUNTERFEITING IS BAD! BAD! BAD! STRONGBAD!"
  13. Question about Dandoy

Just order next time - they always do 4 for the price of 3, for example, so I am sure the sale price would be honored even if item is out of stock.
  14. Lost Guatemalan lookin for help!!! Looping help!

Post video and stuff is easy to fix. If you can't or don't want to, that is fine, but it is hard to fix someone's technique without look at them. I would be a millionaire if I could. Without that, all I can say is to look at all the looping/forehand topspin videos on pingskills youtube...
  15. Evolution MX-P with Virtuoso + or V'King

There are many videos on the Tyler Twist with Theraband Flexbar on youtube, but this is just one:
  16. Evolution MX-P with Virtuoso + or V'King

The drumstick stretch is the main thing the Theraband flexbar tries to simulate, though it does so with some muscle development as well.
  17. Butterfly G40+ Plastic Ball Review

I got my balls and posted my brief review with video here using both XSF and G40+. http://www.tabletennisdaily.co.uk/equipment/balls/11310-g40/
  18. Evolution MX-P with Virtuoso + or V'King

For tennis elbow, the Theraband Flexbar is extremely helpful. Also, immediately you get tennis elbow, just aggressively massage the area hard - muscles have pulled on a tendon so if you get those muscles to relax, you will be fine. With my arthritis, I would have no backhand if it wasn't for...
  19. G40+

5 out of 5 rating for G40+ So I felt that anyone who likes the XSF ball will like the G40+. The sound is distinct but my guess is that over time we will all get used to it. My hitting partner felt it was spinnier than the XSF ball and I seemed more consistent with it (this is also true for me...
  20. G40+

Review by 'NextLevel' on item 'G40+'

So I felt that anyone who likes the XSF ball will like the G40+. The sound is distinct but my guess is that over time we will all get used to it. My hitting partner felt it was spinnier than the XSF ball and I seemed more consistent with it (this is also true for me with the Nittaku Premium)...
