  4. Pre-match rituals and superstition

OI! Not here to judge or anything but I personally have a strong disdain for it, primarily due to my islamic background. For those curious, superstition is regarded as a grave sin in Islam. The idea of attributing supernatural authority or power to something besides GOD according to Islam -...
  5. Skyline v. Hurricane

Thanks for the response. I've played with the TG3N and debating getting a TG2N. How well does the TG2 perform away from the table? Why do you think XX favors the TG2 (and not the TG3) given his aggressive, fast, away-from-table style?
  6. Skyline v. Hurricane

first of, that sounds super psuedo sciency. Second, even if its true, how exactly is that accomplished? what are the differences (pips or otherwise) between the two that require different branding?

  11. Ultimate baby oil tuning / boosting guide (with pictures)

Nice post. I had this one a while back https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?15867-Baby-oil-boosting-for-Chinese-rubbers-an-extremely-cheap-way-to-add-a-little-zip its not a drastic change, but noticeable enough. Doesn’t change how the rubber plays, just livens it up a little. I...

What are the playing characteristics of his forehand rubber, the TG2, i.e how different is the TG2 from the TG3 and the H3? What is it about the skyline series that lends well to his playing style, and why is it that he picks skyline while ML, FZD, ZJK use the hurricane series (technical...

  15. Restoring warped 40+ plastic balls.

Yeah that damage looks intense. Mine had a minor dent in it and some warping but that’s it. Looks like you need to fix it before hand quite a bit before you can “tweak” using the hot water or microwave trick. The entire structure of this ball has changed so I don’t expect these tricks to fix that.
  16. TableTennisDaily's Dan plays TEQPONG with Michael Maze | $50,000

I think my back gave out from just watching this. I’m sure constantly bending down to pick up those low balls will definitely do wonders for my spine.

  19. FZD: More than Rivals with ML

Cant blame the guy. He is like Kobe or Michael Jordon of the sport. He can do what he does because of the overwhelming confidence he has in his own ability. It's not just hard work on his part, it's also this incredible and inate talent. It is very natural and common for that sense of self...
