  1. Boosted rubber won't un-dome

It appears darker because of the oil. It matches/matched Liten's post. The one you've posted appears a lot brighter?
  2. Boosted rubber won't un-dome

so this is what the spinge on the big dipper looks like after a few weeks. http://m.imgur.com/gallery/nSfQf It is still extremely sticky (notice that i can hold it up with a napkin sticking to the back), and goopy (next to impossible to peal). when I had them on the blade, i could press down...
  3. Boosted rubber won't un-dome

well ive removed the weight, now dira the explorer is holding down the rubbers. (A thin book, belongs to my 4 yr old not me.) what are the chances ive damaged my rubbers with the excessive weight?
  4. Boosted rubber won't un-dome

This is how it appeared when i took it off the paddle the first time (and applied my boost). This is not what I have been seeing the past few days, the back has been clearer and wetter, as if the glue hadn't dried completely. (In hindsight, I should've taken a picture to share.) I have brought...
  5. Boosted rubber won't un-dome

Interesting... I havent had to do so with my other rubbers. I wouldn't even know how to remove it now, since the layers of glue still exist in a "wet" state rather than something peel-able.
  6. Boosted rubber won't un-dome

So it has been a few weeks since i boosted my big dippers with baby oil and they won't stick to the paddle. The weather in texas has been on the cold end and I leave my rubbers in the garage to dry, so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. Or, do I need to apply oil to the topsheets...
  7. Rallies Getting Better With The New Ball!

I don't know nearly enough about AAS. I've heard about it being used more frequently in competitive sports than people realize (from personal trainers, gym stories and such), especially at the high school level. Could maintaining an intense workout regiment and proper caloric intake prolong the...
  8. Rallies Getting Better With The New Ball!

I've been told by a friend of 2300/2400 USATT players roiding (no names, but assured that it is absolutely happening, more so at higher levels). I'm hard pressed to believe otherwise. I think the next generation of TT players will not have to worry about the extra spin inducing stress on joints...
  9. No Bounce Receive - Table Tennis Miracle!

You mean kind of like this? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aTziC9WxuHA Also, here's the vid of xx and ml attempting to catch the ball. xx tries both sides, but ml appears to be trying it on his by side only (tenergy) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mq7Z4bQtsyY
  10. Looking for a new faster blade

Would an offensive nct help him with the transition? In my experience offensive blades offer more away from the table, sacrificing feel closer to the table. Switching back and forth could help him extend feeling across blades?
  11. cool office stories

The killerspin premades suck. I took a coworker's jet600, boosted the rubbers with baby oil and replaced the blade with a yinhe v14 and he is dumbfounded. I convinced another coworker (who I have been training/building her foundation) to shell out the money and switch to tenergy 64s, and her...
  12. cool office stories

Started of as a recreational player at work but couldn't keep up with the "best" players about 6 years ago. Now, I'm teaching them so I have someone to compete with, and I'm the guy who got gold for my company in men's double at corporate challenge. I got serious after watching games on YouTube...
  13. Dimitrij Ovctcharov is now using Tenergy

Which of the top players actually has rubbers sponsored? Every example I can think of, it's the blade that is sponsored?
  14. Zhang Jike equipment 2015?

As Carl done noted, thats the joke. :P
  15. What oils can be used as boosters?

Hey Fanz, could you please clarify? Why did the H3 lose the boost effect? Do you mean you tried to reboost this rubber, but did not notice as big a difference the second time, and you suspect this is due to too much left over glue? I'm coming in on 3 months on my H3 and I'm noticing a minor...
  16. Zhang Jike equipment 2015?

Assuming this to be the likely case, this would mean the tin arc sponge (boosted I imagine) is springier than the h3 bs boosted?
  17. Zhang Jike equipment 2015?

A while ago, I came across an article stating he switched to a tenergy FX? I'm inclined to think the pros vary their equipment for short durations to overcome weaknesses that surface during the course of their play time. Maybe ZJK begins to feel a numbness to/loss of feedback from a regular...
  18. Zhang Jike equipment 2015?

He is using a tenergy05 topsheet on a tenergy80 sponge.
  19. What oils can be used as boosters?

Check the ingredients. The one I use contains only mineral oil and fragrance. Mine is actually store brand and not Johnson's.
