In MLTT the teams often arrive 3-4 days ahead of the match to train together and shake off jet lag etc. and it is typically paid for by the teams (for the days before the matches) or league (from the first match day until they fly out).

Correction - Bay Area won't need free agents as they have Kheith Cruz on the roster who will take Lily's place and then probably Lashin or Kaden stepping in. Texas and Chicago will choose between Reyes Lai and Ke.
