  1. What's the next step after fundamentals?

Yes, you should serve mainly long with a lot of spin variations to pips players - receiving short serves is just a bit too easy with pips/anti. Even long serve receive isnt all that hard with sidespin chopblocks or sideswipes.
  2. What's the next step after fundamentals?

You can get LP yourself and join in on the fun lol

Can't believe you didnt include Jeong YoungSik dude.... lol at Oh Junsung being done dirty like that!
  4. Backhand-dominant players: what are your favorite tactics?

For BH players there is one shot that will own a lot of players - it is the BH loop down the line. There are 2 aspects to this, either direct from the opening loop, or a switch during topspin countering battle. I have not seen many ppl which can deal with a quality BH down the line loop. The...
  5. Which is better value for money Tenergy 05 or Dignics 05?

T05 is atrocious at short game - D05 is way better than it. D05 is also good at half shots, wouldnt say it is worse than T05. If you do a lot of pushing (more than say 50% of the time) i think it is not for you tbh. You would need a lot of training to get the short push done. If you like to just...
  6. What is the technical reason Ma Long and top pros love W968?

basically, short game. Top pros can loopkill with any blade even 5 ply wood with tremendous speed and spin. But if you keep popping up short pushes due to bouncy blades then all the loopkill training in the world won't be able to save you from just getting 3rd ball killed. I saw a few pro...
  7. Which is better value for money Tenergy 05 or Dignics 05?

Main thing for me is that D05 is ridiculously durable and this makes it really cheap to play with. I applied tackiness enhancer to my D05 and it plays even better than new after 1.5 yr of play. D05 is very, very good for flicks and topspin-topspin rallies (see for e.g. Harimoto), because it has...
  8. How to keep D09C takcy

There is a product i use to increase D05 tackiness and it works!
  9. Most attractive table tennis players

tbh i don't think any of these 3 really meets the Asian beauty standard. I'm really not sure how did WCQ get so many women fans suddenly. To me it is a mystery. probably Zhou Yu (prev gen CNT) would meet the beauty standard but since he didn't win a lot i don't think he was all that well known.....
  10. Most attractive table tennis players

Nah but ZJK was way more popular than Ma Long even way back then.
  11. Most attractive table tennis players

If we follow your point but then why is Ma Long not rated all that highly despite being the literal greatest of all time? There is a certain aspect of lookism to this. And the female gaze is different from the male gaze.
  12. Most attractive table tennis players

Ok i will make an attempt for the men side. I think among chinese women fans it seems to be a tie between ZJK, WCQ and LGY... Jeong Youngsik and An Jae Hyun seems to be pretty fire too in the Korean team. In JNT Harimoto and Yukiya Uda probably the highest? outside of Asia notable ones would...

No what he meant was that Kaufmann is close to being underage so the comment is extra sus.
  14. How to play Penhold looper with long pips bh?

This describes my practice partner super well. If you're not his level whatever you do is useless because he will still win just due to fundamentals. You can have good strats but you need to execute them very well too. When i was double inverted, these are the strats i used. One of the biggest...
  15. Wingspan blade

Unfortunately it is a bit too expensive for me at the moment... and im already having some fun with anti BH...
  16. Wingspan blade

If it was me i would probably use D05 instead of D09c which would solve the power problem. The composition already looks too slow? The other possibility is to just hit harder but that is always easier said than done especially when out of position.
  17. which coach is right

It is best to learn all variations. There is even fake opening loops, sidespin loops (hook, fade), etc... variation can be killer especially vs good defense. Some ppl are super good at blocking loopkills but are terrible at handling opening loops. Some ppl are really good at handling opening...
