  1. Strategy against this player

I think against the highest rated player, you can see that pushing his half long BH pendulum service to your wide FH is not really the way to go, you are simply giving away the attack opportunity to him for free. You have to develop other FH receive types (short push, sideswipe, flick, hard long...
  2. Which Fundamentals to prioritize?

I would say you can check your technique against the 7 different spin types (pendulum sideunder, sidetop, reverse pendulum sideunder, sidetop, heavy backspin, no spin, topspin). If you are not up to 70-80% success rates if you know the incoming spin, you havent really mastered it. Each stroke...
  3. Is this explanation about looping against different types of spins correct?

Imo there is not that much difference except that against backspin there needs to be a lifting force powered by the quads and glutes, and you have to approach the ball from below it. Finishing position helps but is not the be all end all.
  4. Setup for limited mobility player?

On rubber choice just put something like ox lp or anti haha
  5. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I think I can be a super rare style now being someone who uses BH anti for attacking + control. Add in pretty disgusting FH serves and 3rd ball attacks and I think this may indeed bring me to the next level. I dont know why ppl use anti for defence only. It is even better when used for attack...
  6. PAIN caused by heavy 1 Ply Hinoki Blade Set Up

Damn 240g. Yeah that is gonna bring about some serious hand pain lol... F=ma hence the amount of force to accelerate a bat to a given acceleration is directly proportional to its mass. So compared to someone looping using 180g bat you have to invest 33% higher force to get the same...
  7. Strategy against this player

He accelerates downwards with a flat bat angle, this has to be sideunder. He would have to accelerate upwards with the elbow lift, or use a more closed angle to produce sidetopspin. But tbh it is not that easy in a real match unless you have some cheat code like LP or anti lol (I tried it the...
  8. Strategy against this player

It is sideunderspin. The upwards elbow lift is a fake movement.
  9. Strategy against this player

It is very difficult to short push if you miss the early timing, especially against sidetopspin. The thing is that he cant get to the short wide BH corner in time to short push with his receive positioning. If you serve sidetopspin it will be even harder for him. Especially not when he has to...
  10. Strategy against this player

It is not nospin. You can get very heavy sidespin (coupled with topspin if you drag ball upwards or underspin if you drag ball downwards, a bit like the sideunder and sidetop spin variation with the FH pendulum serve). It produces opposite sidespin to your current FH push. With this you can...
  11. Strategy against this player

He is set up near middle, so FH pendulum short sidetopspin with some sideunder to his BH wide angle (exiting the sides of the table) will immediately force him to move to the left, which will open up his wide FH to exploit. I dont see how he can receive the short wide sidetopspin well in this...
  12. Strategy against this player

No not a flick, it is more like a sideswipe similar to the FH pendulum movement. It is very error tolerant. See
  13. Bh push tutorial

A lot of ppl dont really focus on this but imo the quality of the push is actually incredibly important because the point typically starts with a push rather than a topspin.
  14. Strategy against this player

His receive stance (FH oriented but setup in middle) has a big weakness in the BH short corner esp with short FH pendulum serves that go very wide exiting the sides. I dont see how he can receive those well esp sidetopspin. Max he can do is a weak flick which you can again counter it to his wide...
  15. Strategy against this player

His serves are almost all drifting long and worse, to the ideal looping zone for your FH. Just crunch his serves directly with your FH, it is a gift. If it is too short FH fade it to his BH and yiu will get easy ball to topspin.
  16. Counterloop practice

Close table counterloop kill imo is a bad shot choice unless you are as precise as Ma Long. Even the pros dont have good percentages with this shot. Ive played with many, many players and because my FH opening loop is very spinny, i'm usually on the other side of this equation. I'm usually not...
  17. Counterloop practice

There is way too much premature arm backswing. At max backswing position your elbow should be very close to your waist. Otherwise the stroke will be uncontrolled.
  18. Very Spinny forehand loops are OP

Until you miss 50% of them and 50% of the remaining gets blocked back with interest :)
  19. How to return underspin against underspin with anti?

Hmm will have to watch some videos. I saw the guy playing Fang Yinchi being able to do that. Fang Yinchi was super surprised that it had backspin still.
  20. Playing against long pips and anti rubbers

If you serve sidespin the return ball will be weird af (the sidespin on the ball is not what you would expect from the stroke). You have to stick with serves without sidespin (for eg heavy underspin, no spin, pure topspin). And then take into consideration the reversal.
