  1. Upgrade suggestion on Blade for Pen Hold play

Maybe try a thinner 7 ply wood. Stiga Pure, Tibhar Szocs, are both nice 7 ply wood blades that are thinner than Clipper (6.8mm) but thicker than slower 7 ply woods like Swat and PG7
  2. Did Paddle Palace Buyout Megapsin?

I have no idea, I haven't bought from Megaspin in about a decade, (basically since I discovered TT11) but they have been in business for a long time, so they must be doing something right
  3. Did Paddle Palace Buyout Megapsin?

Yup, Megaspin is fed by several sources including Tabletennisstore.us, Bowmar Sports (ButterflyOnline), JoolaUSA, and Gotabletennis
  4. Introduce yourself to the forum! :)

Fair, one of my clubmates has the Stiga Destiny Cybershape which looks just like the Dynasty, I don't think it has officially been released by Stiga at least in Western markets
  5. TT shoes suggestions!

I am using Sanwei Flashfire (Speed Art rebranded shoes) but I also quite like the newer Donic Spaceflex
  6. Can Hurricane become faster without boosting!?!

Yup when the rubber degrades it loses tackiness and also becomes softer, both of which makes the rubber faster and bouncier.
  7. New Stiga Mantra Pro

All the Pro H I have used are colored, I've tried Pro M in red and Pro XH in black, but I didn't feel any differences in topsheet feeling between the different colors. Pro H remains my favorite though
  8. Butterfly Zyre 03

  9. Help with beginner setup

Aurus series has a softer topsheet, slightly better feeling but they are a tad less aggressive than the Fastarc G/C topsheet. I feel they are also a bit lighter than Fastarcs as well
  10. Torn topsheet

Unless you hit directly on the tear, I don't think you'd feel it
  11. Quarterfinal Loss 2-3 in First U1100 Sanctioned Tournament – Please Share Pointers

More spin and spin more often with the fh, not every fh has to be a strong hit. Slow and spinny provides a nice contrast to cannon fh style shots
  12. Any news and info on Zhang Jike's New donic bluegrip j line?

I share this sentiment. I was surprised at how dead it felt when not giving it the beans, in this aspect it performs amazing in passive control but requires a lot of energy to activate. The performance, especially the spin capacity and arc flight when you do hit through the sponge is still very...
  13. Who is currently the Highest-ranked JPEN player?

https://usatt.simplycompete.com/userAccount/up/174463 Can't find anyone playing at a higher level
  14. Looking for a fat core all wood blade

Not sure what the core woods are but Yinhe N series have some blades with thick construction. N8, N10 and N11 in particular
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Black tag and no serial number so it is at least 20 years old- black tag with serial started in 2006, silver tag in 2009 according to this MyTT thread: https://mytabletennis.net/forum/butterfly-blade-series-number-made-year_topic74045.html
  16. Zhang Jike T5000 vs Fan Zhendong Super ALC?

Can't help you with that unfortunately
  17. Zhang Jike T5000 vs Fan Zhendong Super ALC?

Handle shape and balance. FZD has a slightly wider handle and is a tad more handle-heavy
  18. Zhang Jike T5000 vs Fan Zhendong Super ALC?

T5000 has more metallic carbon feeling, arc is more direct, SALC has better arc and softer feeling but I think it is bouncier than T5000. ZJKT5000 on average are much heavier than FZDSALC from what I've seen. I think the T5000 plays more straightforward and honest where SALC can produce a higher...
  19. Boost T05H on FH?

If you're struggling to clear the net with D09C on Viscaria, I don't think it is the right answer to try a stiffer blade and faster rubber, usually that makes it more difficult to clear the net.
