  1. Is there a way to save this blade after a “minor” accident?

It’s still hard to see, but I would say that’s at the most a medium damage. So I would try saw dusty mixed with wood glue. You could use other glue as well but I like word glue because it’s sa little softer after it’s set. The most important is that if you use sawdust the glue has to be slow...
  2. Is there a way to save this blade after a “minor” accident?

Heck yeah, that’s nothing. Can’t really judge the size this. I always use wood glue, and for large damage I use a thin thin slice of plywood (which I got from hipnotic) and for really small damages and rips I soak paper from a news paper in glue. Medium ones soak the glue with saw dust… then...
  3. Recommend a BH rubber

It fringes around the edges easily this is the only thing I noticed… Cheers L-zr
  4. All about blade sealing

This works for dings but not for warping. You can’t unwrap a bent guitar neck this way. I have an old Martin D18 with a warped neck, it doesn’t have truss rod unfortunately. Still playable on the low frets but I can’t go high… Cheers L-zr
  5. Recommend a BH rubber

I meant the same one… I don’t know about Vega Japan but Europe is horrible. Have you tried Vega Europe hybrid? Cheers L-zr
  6. I recorded myself

@PenHoldSandro Check out the return board thread that just popped up… Cheers L-zr
  7. Recommend a BH rubber

How about Nittaku Hammond Z2 or Tibhar hybrid MK. Or maybe Vega Euro hybrid. Rakza Z is also good but on the heavy side… I am playing with 729 Dragon F. This one is a little tacky, has a teeniwheeni bit of catapult. More spinny and slower than Rakza 7 but not in H3 territory. Cheers L-zr
  8. Recommend a BH rubber

Vega Europe is soft mush, Rakza 7 is IMO better. Cheers L-zr
  9. Training top spin by the return board

The thing is that you have to be very consistent for it to work. I would set the angle for less topspin and give it 10 a 20 strokes and then one kill. The ball hitting the board but not coming back properly… Cheers L-zr
  10. How many of you use Table Tennis as a vice?

Yuk, and you said you had food culture… Cheers L-zr
  11. How many of you use Table Tennis as a vice?

I started because a doctor ordered excercise after a heart attack. When I came back to work from the hospital, a TT table had appeared. I used to play pretty serious some 40 years ago… so it happened naturally… Cheers L-zr
  12. San Francisco looking for training partner.

  14. Discussion on the use of bastard rubbers. Moved to this forum from OOAK.

  15. I recorded myself

We talked enough about return boards.. Cheers L-zr
  16. I recorded myself

Yes, but you can control the pace by yourself. Anyway it’s worth thinking about. You don’t have enough space there for serious training. Gotta do the best with the situation at hand… Enough of this … Cheers L-zr
  17. Long Pips lovers, this is for you

But that’s the way it is. This is a hobby rubber… Cheers L-zr
  18. I recorded myself

Yes you can… but you need to get better. It is not a perfect training partner but in combination with other methods it’s really useful. I just realized that if you serve against it… it tells you the quality of your spin. You can see yourself improving. If you get one make sure it is easy to...
  19. I recorded myself

Yes it is. This way you can get some more space. You don’t need to use it all the time… Just when you don’t have another player… Cheers L-zr
  20. I recorded myself

You are actually lucky to have a table at home. Might as well use it. Build a return board and push the table back a bit. Cheers L-zr
