Sir! You have a calf worthy of a real TT player. Rejoice! Rejoice!
They are bigger after pumping 😉

Im currently visiting Vietnam and just had my ever first visit to a TT store. They had many BTY blades, but one in particular in the case with a ray of light around it, and a slight depiction of Jesus on the blade face with a “not for sale” sticker on it. I immediately knew it was a Golden Viscaria, and the gold tag & lens less handle confirmed it. So I acknowledged it’s presence and kept browsing until I saw a box above the counter that read “Golden Viscaria” and asked the clerk how much it was assuming they might have an additional blade in stock. I know Im not qualified to purchase such a blade (financially or skillfully) or to even look at it, but curiosity struck me. When the clerk told me the price of 25 million VND my wife quickly did the conversion in her head and blurted out “that’s like a $1,000!”. It was then I smiled, bowed my head, and walked out the shop gracefully, but in disbelief.

Some may say this blade is a crash grab, but if you have the means to attain such equipment I say enjoy, and play well.
Thank you so much my good man. At USD 1,000.00 now I can defend my Darker Speed 90 purchase against my wife undying accusation, but dearest beloved waifu, there are blade 2.5 times more expensive than mine. I have just saved us USD 600.00. You should be proud of your husbando.

just weighed my plain, normal plebs Viscaria, and it’s 91 grams. When I replace the tag at the bottom with a golden one, it probably weighs 95 grams.

I guess that’s enough to enter god-like level.

But because I’m plebs, I might add a sliver of lead…

I guess that makes me play devilish at any game.

it's only the handle!

Hope you're having a good time in Vietnam brotha.

If you're looking to pick up TT gear, some rubbers in Vietnam are slightly cheaper. Fastarc is only around $30 or so. Also, you can try ordering Chinese rubbers for very cheap using Shopee or Lazada.

Dear God,

I found a song that when played and listen too: It will make my ZONE become EPIC ZONE.

Feat: Epic Zone
1. Concentration +8
2. Speed +8
3. STR + 4
On than that I gain an additional bonus feat: LIGHT AS FEATHER ( Footwork + 4 )

So what is that song that I am referring to?

This song!

Had a great time, but didn't buy any TT gear since they didn't have what I was looking for. Funny enough I was in Korea & Japan over the summer and didn't step foot in any tt shops, because I was "content" with my current setup LOL. Maybe next year if I go back to Asia I can search for a cheap 3rd or 4th hand Golden Vis.

While the price of Golden Vis is certainly not cheap in Vietnam, I can get a brand new one for around $650 here. There are many importers that can get that blade from China directly and take smaller profits compared to the brick and mortar shops here. I imagine that would be the same across Asia, just that you would have to know the right people and planning beforehand.

Almost never seen a second hand Golden Vis - but as said elsewhere you can get them new for under $600 if you know who etc.

Thanks this is the plan.
I love playing my Timo Boll ZLF and i have both current and old version. Structure and kind of wood plies are the same as Viscaria the only difference is presence of Carbon in Viscaria and type of Fiber ZL vs AL. This will be direct comparison but I’m not good in stories 🤣 will do my best. I’m also waiting for package from Japan to put new Tenergies on current TB ZLF, those on old TB ZLF are 6-7 months old but they are still good, on Viscaria T05 is new, T19 is moved from q968 Nat almost new after couple of training session. It will be good to have the same rubbers on those 3 blades and I’m curious how the differences will be noticeable. Of course between TB ZLF’s should be less (if any) vs Viscaria should be more.

I switched back and forth between the Golden Vis and Jinshi KLC pro for 3 hours yesterday and they surprisingly feel so close to me despite all the differences in compositions. Both blades have really good feedback, soft feeling, and it's very easy to hit through these blades. I didn't have to adjust my strokes at all. Will need more time with the golden vis, but I think so far I still prefer my KLC pro.

That’s a pretty big testament lol. Can’t wait to get my KLC Pro in. What weight is yours? I asked for 90g+
