  1. Does anyone play with a torn rotator cuff?

If you become a frictionless LP/anti pushblocker it'll be a lot easier on the body :)
  2. Is there a very spinny rubber with good control?

Imo, Hurricanes and Dignics has the highest spin potential out of all the rubbers I tried.
  3. Bounce with the Ball / Split-Step

yes it is the skip step that she refers to. I still need to ingrain all of them into my muscle memory which will take some time!
  4. Bounce with the Ball / Split-Step

When looping balls that are wide to the FH with the crossover step, you have to land with your left foot and then bounce back to middle with both feet. Same with FH pivoting, after the weight transfer you have to rebound with both feet immediately so that your right leg is about halfway between...
  5. Bounce with the Ball / Split-Step

There's also other types of recovery resets I am working on which is to get back to reset position after a stroke. If a player serves super wide then you intercept with your left foot, place weight on left foot, during the loop stroke you transfer your weight rightwards to your right foot and...
  6. Post your latest EJ purchase

No more full Gozo unfortunately :( it was fun while it lasted!

Yep I heard some really good stuff about the Harimoto ALC blade. I think this will bring back some of my short game control (especially short push). It's tiring to freaking chiquita/flick everything and go into topspin rally/attack mode. Sometimes you just wanna push and chill hahaha
  8. How do you deal with the float push?

I think changing to brush too much has the problem of increasing miss rate. Even against really heavy underspin I never pure brush the ball. There's always some degree of hit in it.
  9. How do you deal with the float push?

I contact the ball at different places depending on my read of the incoming spin. Heavy underspin I will try to contact more bottom and the less the underspin the more towards the top I will contact. This is true regardless of stroke (loop, push, sideswipe, flick, etc...)
  10. Post your latest EJ purchase

Bought a Harimoto ALC and transferred my double D05 over. Hopefully this will be the last purchase for a long, long time :)

Lol 😂 Butterfly joining the fake news crowd!
  12. European Games 2023

    Yes I read this....
  13. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Thanks, I understand the problem more deeply and know what I have to do now.
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yep I guess I found my problem, maybe it was not so much the parallel stance but the right foot orientation. I will try having feet parallel and still pointed at around 2-3 o'clock next session. Like what you said, there are some significant advantages in transition speed with the parallel...
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Out of curiosity what angle is your right foot to the incoming ball during the FH backswing when your feet is parallel? So I tried having my feet pointed much more forward (maybe 1o clock?) yesterday and this might be the issue. I usually loop with my right foot pointing sideways at around 3 o...
  16. European Games 2023

She has the most visible "wrapping" of the ball when she loops unlike a lot of other top players who do it a lot more subtly.
  17. European Games 2023

Didn't understand how Alexis and Felix could lose to Marcos Freitas of all ppl. I had some higher hopes for the Lebruns...
  18. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I tested it for another night, think it offers faster transitions and is better suited to close table topspin play especially against quick switches down the line from the opponent after BH-BH. The transitioning is really much faster. But it's kinda useless otherwise. I tried it in matches and...
  19. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I think both Alexis and Truls have pretty windmilly and very strong FH loop similar to CNT players.
  20. Describe your playstyle!

I play quite an aggressive / deceptive serve/receive game these days and I have the full package of deceptive serves (FH pendulum, hook, heavy under/no spin, tomahawk at times) which I will just choose placements/spin/type at random. I will only stop changing if I smell weaknesses. They're all...
