  1. New Hurricane King for Wang Chuqin

The ripples are most likely from the glue and booster.
  2. Post your latest EJ purchase

Baracuda is quite old but I think there's a good reason it's stuck around, and they even have it in blue from some stores.
  3. What does Rakza 7 play like?

Its been a while since I used Vega Pro so I don't think I can compare, my most recent ones have been Vega X and Vega Japan. Vega X is in the same ballpark as R7, a bit springier, better spin potential with R7 for me, but I think R7 is more forgiving. VJ is softer, spins easier than R7, but I...
  4. What does Rakza 7 play like?

G1 is more powerful, but I got the feeling that it is a bit easier to spin with R7.
  5. What does Rakza 7 play like?

Ralza 7 is certainly one of the table tennis rubbers of all time.
  6. Which rubber would match well on sanwei paramid ?

It might be the QC but I tried both AK47 Yellow and Red and I thought the Red was a considerably better rubber than Yellow. My sheet of Yellow felt mushy and vague with inconsistent grip, but the Red had a very stable and direct feeling (if a bit muffled vs some other higher end rubbers) and a...
  7. Tacky rubbers recommendations

The blade I tried it on was more flexible than the one I use, but the rubber felt like it had a pretty high throw.
  8. Tacky rubbers recommendations

Most modern hybrids sound like they fit the bill. Only one I've tried has been Nittaku Sieger PK50 but it plays pretty well and has me wanting to try others, mainly Golden Tango and Gewo Codexx.
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I've found the same thing in practice, but in a match setting I feel like I more often get less opportunity to use the extra quality afforded by a harder rubber on my bh. I generally prefer to open with the backhand as people are more comfortable pushing to that side and for that I experience...
  10. Wait for tackiness to wear off?

Clean it really aggressively, then beat it up with several sessions. If it stays tacky then it stays tacky, and if it's not bouncy enough for you then you should boost it, but I'd wait until you have worn it in a little bit
  11. Why does it seem like I play to the level of my opponent?

"Don't screw up" seems reductive and negative and it seems to be a mindset that is strongly psyching you out from making productive decisions in your games. Maybe try taking in your situation at face value and just focus on trying to play your own game as well as you can
  12. Looking for short pimples for BH recommendations

Look at 1.5 to 1.8 sponge Victas Spectol S1, RITC 802 for a control style Yinhe Pluto, Nittaku Express for a bit of funk/deadball action Moristo SP, Victas VO>102 for rubbers that play more like smooth than the previously listed
  13. Long handle for penhold style

I havent found issues with the handle hitting my arm, rather the striking surface (especially for rpb) is reduced Because Chinese blades are usually noticeably larger than shakehand blades.
  14. Specifically, who is Andro C48 meant for?

There are tons of rubbers out there. You don't have to like it if it's just not working out
  15. I lost my spark for playing TT

Ever tried playing single sided jpen?
  16. Backhand rubbers? Is d09c too much for a beginner-intermediate player?

G1 has a slightly stiffer topsheet, rubbers like Hype KR and Vega X which are rated at the same sponge hardness but have softer feeling topsheets play more forgiving in this aspect so you might like those- they just didn't last terribly long for me, I noticed that the grip and arc became more...
  17. Backhand rubbers? Is d09c too much for a beginner-intermediate player?

I personally found G1 much easier to control than C1, the softer sponge on C1 made it a bit more unpredictable for me. Have you tried the G1 on your backhand?
  18. Backhand rubbers? Is d09c too much for a beginner-intermediate player?

I thought S1 was kind of a dud. I think C1 is much better than S1 and might be more in line with what you're looking for, it is much grippier and feels harder and crisper. Its still on the softer side but it's not mushy soft IMO
