The Acoustic Carbon outer even has more feel than the Viscaria, but less than the inner Acoustic.

FX-P has a grippier topsheet and softer sponge than EL-P and is comparable to the Tenergy FX series. I personally felt EL-P was better for blocking and FX-P for looping. EL-P felt a little too passive.

The same rubbers you're using now will work great on the Acoustic: T80FX on both sides. Plus, it's best you only make one change at a time to adapt and tell the difference, in this case, only change the blade. PS: I used to have T05FX on both sides on an Acoustic and it was great.

The Acoustic is a great blade (I own the all-wood and the carbon outer), and yes much more control than the Viscaria and Ma Long H3.
