Hi, someone explained it in an earlier post.
  5. T League - Japan's New TT league

    I hope that's true!
  6. Looking for new Blade Beginner/Developing Player

Like yogi_bear and FruitLoop recommended, get a 5-ply all-wood limba blade in the ALL+ or OFF- spectrum. They are popular blades for a reason favored by many developing players and pros alike as they offer control, flexibility yet plenty power. There are many to choose from, some of the most...
  7. Rubbers for Nittaku Acoustic

I play 8 hours a week with it for 6 months so around 200 hours before I change mine. Some people go longer, preference plays a part in this too. I could go 3-4 months I suppose.
  8. Rubbers for Nittaku Acoustic

Andro Rasanter R47 and Nittaku Fastarc G-1.
  9. Good Rubbers to Pair with My Joola Aruna Off Blade

What's your level / USATT rating? What blade and rubbers are you playing with now?
  10. Good Rubbers to Pair with My Joola Aruna Off Blade

Thank you. I share Lightzy's recommendations of Rakza 7 and Rakza 7 Soft depending on what hardness you're looking for. They are more modern rubbers that would fit your playing level well if you get them in 1.9mm. Your Mark V HPS is very hard at 50 degree, R7 is 47.5 deg and R7 Soft is 40 deg...
  11. Good Rubbers to Pair with My Joola Aruna Off Blade

Hi, it would help us to know your USATT rating before making clear recommendations to you. Also are you playing with the regular Mark V HPS or the HPS Soft?
  12. any recommendation for soft blade? (or flexible)

The Stiga Infinity VPS V is rather hard blade. For a soft Stiga blade, you could either go with the Azalea ALL or OFF, the ALL will be the softest of the two. You can order them from tabletennis11.com .
  13. Butterfly Timo Boll ALC or Butterfly Innerforce ALC?

When you say outdated carbon blade, are you referring to the Gergery or another blade?
  14. Butterfly Timo Boll ALC or Butterfly Innerforce ALC?

Hi sspark80, while the sponge is the same on the 05FX and 64FX, the topsheet of the 05FX is more bouncy/lively while that of the 64FX is more linear and stable also feeling a bit softer while being less heavy by 2-3g per sheet once cut. Overall it offers more control. The Virtuoso OFF- is an...
  15. Butterfly Timo Boll ALC or Butterfly Innerforce ALC?

I'd say the Petr Korbel is actually a significant step up from the Primorac in terms of speed. The TB ALC and T05 regular (not FX) are overkill at this/our level, fun to try and in practice, but frustrating in matches and competitions, and impeding development. I had major EJ virus and it gave...
  16. Butterfly Timo Boll ALC or Butterfly Innerforce ALC?

Primorac is really more like an ALL+ whereas the Petr Korbel is a true OFF- (used by many professionals btw). Also the Korbel's larger head size is a big plus in terms of control, feel and flexibility.
  17. Butterfly Timo Boll ALC or Butterfly Innerforce ALC?

Indeed! For OP's sake, I also own the Innerforce ALC (and TB ALC for that matter) but much favor the Korbel which I use with this exact setup (T05 FX 1.9mm). I'm 36, have been playing for 3 years and am around USATT 1400-1500. The ALC's are too fast for me whereas an all-wood 5-ply OFF- blade...
  18. Butterfly Timo Boll ALC or Butterfly Innerforce ALC?

I totally agree with chintanmashroo in both the fact that you should only change one element at a time and his recommendations (except maybe the order, simply due to personal preference). I would highly recommend you use the Petr Kobel all-wood or Maze Performance with the Rakza 7 Soft on both...
  19. VOC vs water based Glue

No I didn't seal my blades and didn't have any issues gluing or removing the Tenergy or MX-P rubbers with this glue.
  20. Rubbers for Gauzy Quest Off

Only the H47, two of my clubmates are using it, quality stuff and I expect no less from the M43.
