  1. Xu Xin's Equipment

239€ for the standard edition, 279€ for the Xu Xin edition. Also, I was mistaken, they said they would both come out in December (not November like I had previously written). I could have bought one at the event but too much for me right now.
  2. Xu Xin's Equipment

The Stiga rep at the World Cup (where this picture was taken since I saw the display and touched the 2 blades) said both versions would be released in December, the Xu Xin version will cost 279€. I can ask about the regular Dynasty price tomorrow.
  3. So there are 2 versions of Stiga Dynasty??

This is true. Also the TB ALC FL handle is smaller than the Viscaria's.
  4. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

Here Harimoto's signature blade handle can be seen in great detail and we can make up the badge design: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ittfworld/31401868338/in/album-72157696490836200/

  6. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

Pretty indeed! Well done on the caption, thank you! We can see it clearly now including the badge, although we'll have to wait a bit longer for the details...

Thanks Giangt! I knew someone would come through with a better pic soon. Do you have a link for a higher resolution or bigger size version of this picture?
  8. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

  9. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

Nobody knows for sure yet but based on what Butterfly reported he was using up until now, it's a fair assumption. We'll just have to wait and see... They said another big announcement about the blade will be made in January, probably its release date, some specs etc.
  10. Advice on replacement for Rozena

    On point!
  11. Advice on replacement for Rozena

Like Takkyu_wa_inochi said, it's most likely the technique than the rubbers. Rozena can produce what you're looking for with good technique. If you want more control to improve your technique, you could go down in thickness, also switch to a 5-ply all-wood OFF- or ALL+ blade like ZhouZhekai said.
  12. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

Butterfly Japan announced that he would be using his signature blade starting at the Buenos Aires Youth Olympics which started yesterday. Can't wait to see a good picture of the blade. So far, you can't see anything from ITTF's Flickr pics... PS: I also have a strong feeling that it's a...

  15. What's the cheapest euro-style tensor rubber?

Thank you once more yogi! Going to look into it.
  16. What's the cheapest euro-style tensor rubber?

Thank you again ttdad. The two rubbers you mentioned sound like they could be good options. I'm going to email Zeropong to find out more. I'll let you know what I eventually pick, I'll probably test a few cheap options mentioned by various members before settling on one for volume. The main...
  17. Looking for the best fit in stiga 5 ply wood blade

Ok, I think you will really enjoy the Virtuoso OFF- and it'll fit what you're looking for as well as your playing level right now and for many years to come, also it's the most confortable handle I've ever felt and played with. Should take 2 weeks to get to you but well worth the waiting time...
  18. Looking for the best fit in stiga 5 ply wood blade

Great feeling on the Acoustic indeed, the OSP Virtuoso OFF- is very similar in feel, so are the Japanese versions of the Butterfly Korbel and Primorac. I sometimes rotate between the 4.
  19. Looking for the best fit in stiga 5 ply wood blade

I have to agree with what a lot of people have already said, the Azalea OFF or OSP Virtuoso OFF- or Xiom Offensive S would be very good and natural steps up for you, or a Butterfly Primorac. I'd probably stir you away from the Infinity and the NCT as you will likely find them to be too stiff...
