  1. good Blade and rubbers for intermediate player

I agree with my fellow TTD users here, an OFF- 5-layer all-wood blade will give you a lot of feel and touch, yet a very good amount of speed and power, perfect for a developing player and all the way to the pros. Some of the best and cheapest you'll come across are indeed the Butterfly Korbel...
  2. VOC vs water based Glue

For me, the light VOC glue provides a perfect flat job whereas the water-based glue requires a bigger hassle to produce that kind of result. It does cause a slight shrinkage once you remove the rubbers. The shelf life of both glues is very long, never had a problem with that.
  3. Rakza 7 vs tibhar mx-p

EL-P's topsheet is not grippy and doesn't last as long as MX-P's. If he wants more control, FX-P is a much better rubber (same topsheet as MX-P but softer sponge). The EL versions are not that good in my opinion, whilst the MX & FX versions of the Evolution series are strong.
  4. Rakza 7 vs tibhar mx-p

Both MX-P and R7 are good and similar in many ways. I'd say MX-P is grippier and while its sponge feels softer than R7, its topsheet feels harder than R7. If you like MX-P on your BH, I'd recommend you also use it on your FH. If you want a softer, bouncier feeling, try regular Tenergy or S-1...
  5. Rakza 7 vs tibhar mx-p

I much prefer MX-P to EL-P (better topsheet), the same way I prefer Rakza 7 to Rakza X.
  6. VOC vs water based Glue

I love this post and couldn't agree more!!! :)
  7. My new foam edge tape

People at my club to this too, very useful. I prefer the clean cut-right-at-the-edge look for my main bat but I started doing the overhang for bats and rubbers I test.
  8. VOC vs water based Glue

I'm of the same opinion. I honestly only use this light VOC glue because it gives me the least headache when gluing, ungluing and re-gluing. Except for the first day or two, I don't see a difference in my rubbers' performance from when I use to glue with water based glues. I might get around to...
  9. VOC vs water based Glue

I've used several water-based glues (Butterfly, Nittaku, Donic...) and found them to all be a pain to use: long drying times, having to use at least 2 layers on the rubbers, don't stick well, propensity for lumps, leave a lot of residue on both blade and rubbers, hard to remove on the rubbers...

  11. T League - Japan's New TT league

Only 4 teams for now, but there are already plans for more teams in the upcoming seasons as well as lower divisions. The JTTL will be absorbed into the T.League after the 2020 Olympics.

  13. Xu Xin's Equipment

No, this is retail prices they said. They weren't actually selling it there, they only had maybe 3 of each that they could sell at the end of the event for people that were really interested. I was until I heard the prices lol

  17. T League - Japan's New TT league

Hi yea, he's in Japan right now after watching the World Cup with me in France. He's now in Tokyo for 5 days to watch 2-3 T.League games, before flying back to LA (where I use to live). He's also going to play some TT while there. Let me know if you're interested to meet up with him to watch...
