I checked you pics, that’s how blades looks like after being covered for a long time, the blade is fine just sand it lightly and fix the damage. I would look for a price wood with a similar thickness, sand to size and form and glue it in place. This will be some work but probably worth it...

I can’t see any picture, but the discoloration indicates water, probably not a big deal. When you remove the rubber you should do it from side to side. This is against the grain and will minimize the risk to tear off wood.. Cheers L-zr

It’s basically a mental thing, you have to teach yourself how to temporarily stop “caring” too much so that you can really play out. If I really want really want to win you can be sure I give away a lot of easy points… Cheers L-zr

When practicing both players do their best to ensure a smooth session with predictable shots and most of the time easy balls. In a match your opponent tries his hardest to give you the most difficult ball possible. And when practicing you don’t care much if you miss and you play with your best...

I think you are seriously wrong here, I would much rather use the old ball, but it’s hard to get ahold of no tournaments use them…

You know, the intention with the ball change was to slow down the game. But since it became harder to spin the ball everybody was going for speed instead so practically the game became faster. Maybe your opponent(s) need to learn how to topspin better.😊 Cheers L-zr

If you counter the ball without spin, yes but the old ball is smaller and lighter so it becomes easier to turn the spin.

No and no, It’s easier to lift the old ball, and the feeling is slightly different. I wouldn’t say it’s harder but you need to close the racket a little bit more when blocking topspin shots. I for one do not want to get too used to the “old ball feel”… Cheers L-zr

No, I play with them sometimes. Spin is definitely easier with the old ball. To play with them too much is probably a bad idea. I play with them only to remember the old days… Cheers L-zr
