I’d say that’s a good thing, still heavy though. My heaviest set up is 191g. My current set up is 175g, due to very light rubber, the blade weigh is perfect. But I did notice my reaction improving… Cheers L-zr

I've used both water based and others, I definitely prefer when its based on turpentine or naphtha. Do NOT wipe with paper like this if it is naphtha based. You will end up with a mess. You'd be best not viping at all and if You desperately need to, use a LINT FREE RAG.. If its water based I...

It looks like a very rough outer layer, are You sure the blade is legit? Anyway let the varnish set and use a fine sandpaper together with a block. keep sanding until the surface gets nice and even. Then apply a thin layer of varnish (You can thin it a bit with turpentine if You think it's)...

It is, in most cases, but I am used to play with softer rubbers and low arch's. Soft rubbers has less spin on really hard hits so I need to keep the ball lower. My current setup has a higher arch and I've had a hell of a time getting used to it... Cheers L-zr

I'm with Wrighty67 on this. A loop is more spin than speed and almost always as a response to topspin You will have more speed than spin. This makes it a drive. What many people today call "loops" I consider to be drives with lots of topspin... Cheers L-zr

The only characteristic in a blade that can effect spin is how long the ball stays on the racket. Spin is allvv by about rubbers. A slow blade is always easier to generate spin with than a fast blade.

Lula is correct, the only factor of the blade is how long the ball stays when hit. So basically SLOW blades are good for spin and fast blades not so much. The rest is up to the rubber. Cheers L-zr

Nope, wood that is cut from its tree always gets drier, and no the best woods are dried naturally. If You dry wood artificially it is a huge risk that it gets warped. Even natural drying must be done in correct humidity. The wood will strive for the same humidity as your average air humidity. If...
