  1. Tenergy on Hurricane Long 5

Both, I’m using a slow rubber for my Primorac Carbon, Rakza 7 Soft. A medium fast rubber for my innnerforce ALC.S, Rakza 7. And a fast rubber for my Stiga allround evolution, MXS. They all have comparable speed but the innerforce has the most gears. Cheers L-zr
  2. Which rubbers?

Not everybody is playing to get better (like me). Some of us do it for fun, should we get better that’s a bonus. Cheers L-zr
  3. Stiga DNA Dragon Grip

One of my dealers had a sale stating this about 6 months ago and it’s gone from Stigas official site. Lots of dealer have them in stock so you better grab them while you can. I think they were great for speed but less for spin. Cheers L-zr
  4. Organising practice nights

We have a coach that takes care of this. If we are an uneven number of players and a table is available he plays too. We have played for a long time so advice is hard to give and we don’t care too much. We focus on the exercise context not so much on our technique. Cheers L-zr
  5. Stiga DNA Dragon Grip

Mantra may not be such a good idea since it has been discontinued... Cheers L-zr

  7. Buying equipment in the UK

I’m not in the UK, but I guess it’s not much different here. All physical stores here are gone so You basically have to go online. I personally don’t by anything from Asia specially China. I would only buy from a reputable store in the union (EU). There are some in my country but I prefer...

  9. Stiga DNA Dragon Grip

I haven’t heard of that one before. 55 ESN degrees is pretty damn hard. The slow game will be very difficult. Too hard for me... Cheers L-zr

  12. Wally Rebounder

I used one once, If I recall correctly its really picky on how You hit the ball if You expect something serious in return. For me a robot works much better. Cheers L-zr
  13. Opinions on Butterfly MJ ZLC

Welcome to the "club". It's a really fast blade so if You think You can handle it, go for it. I wouldn't I would need a really slow rubber to handle it. I have an old Primorac Carbon (Tamca500) and it's comparable in speed. I use it with Rakza 7 soft otherwise it't too fast. The new ones are...
  14. Equipment Help Needed - Trying to Get Back Into TT

The blades on your list are very different. I Would stay away from Stiga Dynasty Carbon (too fast). I don’t know much about Nittaku but I know Stiga and Butterfly. From your list I would: 1) If I wanted a carbon blade, Innerforce layer ALC. 3) If I wanted pure wood, Petr Korbel. The...
  15. Blade similar to Clipper CR wrb (Xiom extreme S?, Force pro black edition?)

There made from wood, and wood is a “living” material. No two individuals are going to be identical. There going to be similar at best. The specified characteristics are basically an average. Cheers L-zr
  16. Equipment Help Needed - Trying to Get Back Into TT

You are so wrong, First its is a fast blade with the right rubber. Secondly If You are playing with a blade that is too fast You loose confidence and hold Yourself back and not follow through. If You play with a blade that is a little too slow for You will learn the correct strokes because THERE...
  17. Started Playing Again after 40+ years - What bat ?

Hi, I did the same trip recently (45 years). I was a youth elite player in the early 70's. I got back to a decent game pretty quick. I think You mean "Stellan Bengtsson" and Super Sriver and Sriver. (I used these rubbers too). Buy blade and rubber separate and glue yourself, its easy there's a...
  18. EuroJap rubber for FH

If it was invented.a long time ago doesn’t matter, if it survives a long time it is probably a sign of quality. MarkV was invented in the 60’s and it’s still around. Just make sure that what you get is not super hard or super fast. If your not advanced it is much better to be a little bit to...
  19. EuroJap rubber for FH

I remember You, from a video You posted a year ago or so. I would suggest Rakza 7. Its not too fast and not to slow. I don't know about Your blade, but an OFF - to OFF blade is recommended. I myself love this rubber I am currently using it on an BTY innerforce ALC:S. You really need to hit hard...
