  2. Choice of all-wood offensive blade - Survey

I've played with FZD ALC which feels very close to all wood. The soft feeling is very nice. I just picked up a 1980s Stiga 5-ply. Thickness 5.7mm but surprisingly 96g!! Top spin drive is easier than I thought even with the slower ball.
  3. Good Jpen blades available

Played jpen for a few years. Darker and Butterfly are the best makers of 1-ply hinoki. They are very hard to find now. I've played with Taiwain's double day which feels close enough to my Darker Speed-90. You can find it HERE Or Yasaka's Hasha
  4. Felix the champion

I was gasping for air because it’s been many years since the last penholder took a major title. Ex penholder so can’t help I would like to start a separate thread. Against LSD and Harimoto (among the best BH in the world 💪🏼), what do you think are Felix’s advantages? Can penholders ascend to...
  5. WTT CHAMPIONS MONTPELLIER

We We all love Miwa. CNT will study her really hard. I hope Miwa will evolve fast to stay on top
  6. Ni Xia Lian on WSJ Future of everything

Quite a major interview they have 5.7M subscribers
  7. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Saw a lot of people leaving just before the ceremony why was that?
  8. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Is it just me? I feel ML was a bit emotional in the interview. I feel he truly enjoy table tennis and tried to avoid the topic of retirement 😭 😭
  9. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

I was just saying it's possible ML was told to ease up and lost 2 sets to make the final more nail biting for the fans. But in the 7th game he had tried his best
  10. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

For one thing ML doesn't care about the title as much as the younger generations. For another thing finals tickets are expensive. Just imagine ML could've put in ALL HIS ENERGY to win the 5th game. But the fans probably didn't feel it's worth their money.
  11. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

CTTA and WTT had already scripted the match? For the max thrill and entertainment. ML can't win
  12. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

For the first time I feel Ma Long was told to bring it to 7 sets. Evidently ML had quite a lot of energy to win the first 7 points in the 7th game. It made no sense why he gave up the 5th and 6th game. Likely because he was told to make the final entertaining and jaw dropping by giving LSD...
  13. Is butterfly overpriced

For blades maybe? Inflated by engraving champion names on the handles. For rubbers no. Even the cheaper Tenergy series still good enough for today's game and they last a long time.
  14. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

The stadium, the top players and the number of spectators throughout is just insane. I feel like this is better than the Olympic.
  15. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

When? I thought you must use the same racket throughout the whole match?
  16. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Wow ML really struggling with LSD's serves. Hook serve is nothing new I am sure ML has trained for it right?
  17. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

That’s why table tennis is a very sophisticated sport requiring fast thinking and smart strategy at a split second. Of course the physical strength is just as important. FZD 8 years ago was like XP with supreme physical strength but lacking the strategy.
  18. dignics 05 vs. 09c.

D05 just shoots out much longer hence harder to control than 09C on passive block.
  19. V>15 Sticky: Finally !!

My Victas TDE (57.5 hardness) feels like H3 40 degrees but has a lower ceiling. Anyone can play TDE on Bh due to the soft thin topsheet. >15 sticky suits what style?
