  1. Why are rubbers so expensive?

Fastarc is a Japaneese rubber... And why, because the rubber market in Europe is so lucrative, so they want a part of it.
  2. Why are rubbers so expensive?

Actually wood isn't cheap anymore, at least not quality wood. So why keep the blade... Why not do it Timo Boll's way, New blade and rubber every week... or at least how long it takes for the rubber to go dead...I doubt the rubber R&D is that expensive, It's the same basic stuff that I used in...
  3. Why are rubbers so expensive?

I would never ever buy a Chineese blade, I've been in China and I've seen all the fake stuff... A cheapo rubber OK, maybe but unfortunately I hate the sticky stuff...
  4. Why are rubbers so expensive?

A Dignics here goes for 95Euro's a good blade can be had for 30Euros... One excellent example is Stiga Offensive Classic. That's even a big brand name, There are several Tibhar's and probably a couple of TSP's and Gewo's too... Sorry I don't buy Chineese cheapo stuff... The QC has gone out for...
  5. SDC Handmade Blades

Wow, these are lookers for sure
  6. Why are rubbers so expensive?

What makes a rubber so expensive??? I can get 2 great blades for the same price as 1 Tenergy or Dignics.sheet. I can get 1 great blade for the same price as an Evolution or a Rakza sheet. The rubbers are consumables, the blade is not,(unless You are Timo Boll 😏) What on earth makes the rubbers...
  7. Is Harimoto's screams disrespectful to the opponent?

Reminds me of a howler monkey...
  8. Is Harimoto's screams disrespectful to the opponent?

But he disgusts me so I can’t watch him anymore....
  9. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

No, they are normally much cheaper, and a beginner doesn't need an advanced racket anyway.
  10. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

The "parameters" don't matter to beginners, the cost to the club does. Rubbers can be changed and who is gonna change it before it's gone??? The broken rackets I've seen have been broken at the handle, there is no fix in that...
  11. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

Is this equipment for beginners? In that case I would get a premade racket, like a 3 star. Basically all brands have those. Cheers L-zr
  12. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

My Primorac is vintage, from 1996.
  13. Introduce yourself to the forum! :)

Hi, welcome. I used to play darts at the local pub. The key was enough amount of beers, not to many then your game went down the drain... I did like you I used to play very seriously as a youth in the 70’s. So for me it wasn’t too hard to get going. Cheers L-zr
  14. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

Noway that’s Hinoki definitely not Kiso Hinoki, Hinok is an expensive wood. What you are showing me is a cheap rip off. I’m not even sure the Tibhar is Kiso Hinoki....
  15. Compare boll alc with treiber co

The main difference between C(arbon)O(uter) and C(arbon)I(nner) is that the deeper the carbon is the harder You have to hit before it is engaged. So a Carbon inner blade will be slower on loose hits and just as fast as an outer blade on hard hits. Cheers L-zr
  16. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

Yeah, I was thinking about that one too, but there is a bloody limit to how many blades a man can own 🤩 (the 70th anniversary)
  17. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

I believe it's the Hinoki outer layer, it feels amazing when You hit hard, so that the rubber almost bottoms out. This feeling I don't have in any other blade. I will report the result in this thread....
  18. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

Almost correct, the same feel but slower, thus get rid of the Carbon. I have a Tibhar H-3-9 coming, per advise by short_pimple. Cheers L-zr
  19. Yasaka MarkV carbon blade with Evolution MXP 2.2

My guess is that it is a "Ma Lin Carbon", a "Ma Lin Soft Carbon" or close to this design. Cheers L-zr
  20. Yasaka Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard rubbers

It would have been a lot more credible if it wasn't XIOM sponsored.... Cheers L-zr
