I don't think You'll need an all-round blade. A off will be fine. If You want an ALC blade the Butterfly Innerforce ALC.S is probably one of the slowest butterfly's ALC blades. But You don't really need anything that expensive. A cheaper one that I hear recommended all the time is Butterfly...

I try to order them ~1.9 - 2.1 ish. There isn't a huge difference. The difference is more noticeable when You get down to 1.7 and skinnier... It also depends on the hardness and whether You want to be able to feel more wood or not... Cheers L-zr

I checked out both recommended blades now (Online only). The Yinhe was quite different from my requirements, where as the Tibhar was almost spot on. It would have been nice if the middle layer would have been something slower than Hinoki. It is a speed demon, but its worth considering. Cheers...
