  1. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

I am slowing it down with Rakza 7 soft. Regular Rakza is too fast. I love the feeling but I want to slow it down a bit. So that sounds about right, I will look into this thanks. Cheers L-zr
  2. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

Wouldn't that be crazy fast? The soft middle is to slow it down some.
  3. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

OK Balsa without Carbon may be a bad idea. What if it is changed to something a little harder and heavier like Cypress. Hinoki ~2mm - Cypress ~3mm - Hinoki ~2mm Will this be too heavy? (heavy I consider >90g) I am looking for 3 layers, Hinoki on the surface and something soft in the middle...
  4. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

My blade would be 7mm thick with 3 layers reinforcing each other. I think it should be stronger, but maybe not by much.
  5. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

This is the exact reason why I'm guessing balsa. But actually many wood types have lines at the end grain.
  6. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

Hmm, this makes some sense, but they make functioning Hinoki single plies... It should at least be stronger than that... Cheers L-zr
  7. Alternative to Primorac Carbon

Hi all You blade makers. I have a Primorac Carbon. It is built like: Hinoki - Tamca5000 - Balsa - Tamca5000 - Hinoki (Hipnotic I think You said the core was Kiri, but my blade has a very soft core and my guess is it is Balsa). I wonder what the weight and characteristic the blade would have...
  8. ALC blade with the thinnest grip

It’s listed as 84g and +- 5g sounds about right. Anything more is too much. Cheers L-zr
  9. ALC blade with the thinnest grip

There handmade so its probably individual, According to the spec blade I have Viscaria is a 25, Harimoto ALC is also a 25 and Timo Boll ALC is a 24. This should make all Harimotos thicker than all Timo Bolls.
  10. Stéphane Ouaiche vs. Wang Yang - Swedish open 2019

Defensive player, a dying breed. You could tell Stephane was very uncomfortable... Who wouldn’t be... Cheers L-zr
  11. Primorac Carbon Restoration - SDC

It says unused... actually never dressed... I have done quite a lot of woodwork in my days, and the finer wood mostly mahogany in this case was stored outside, to prevent it from drying. The blade has never been outside... Ok, but you just confirmed that they not identical. I actually thought...
  12. Primorac Carbon Restoration - SDC

I got the same Blade, mine is 25 years old and has actually been unused the whole time. It has not been exposed to humidity in any way, size, shape or form... It’s weight is still a hefty 100 grams. In my experience wood dries with time unless exposed to humidity. So I’m wondering if the old...

  15. Besides table tennis, what hobbies/sports do you do in your free time?

And all my guns are manufactured before 1890 and (mostly) original. If the ignition mechanism (percussion cap) is separate from the shell and the gun is manufactured before 1890 , they are license free here. So that makes them muzzle loaders with a few exceptions. Cheers L-zr
