I am slowing it down with Rakza 7 soft. Regular Rakza is too fast. I love the feeling but I want to slow it down a bit. So that sounds about right, I will look into this thanks. Cheers L-zr

Wouldn't that be crazy fast? The soft middle is to slow it down some.

OK Balsa without Carbon may be a bad idea. What if it is changed to something a little harder and heavier like Cypress. Hinoki ~2mm - Cypress ~3mm - Hinoki ~2mm Will this be too heavy? (heavy I consider >90g) I am looking for 3 layers, Hinoki on the surface and something soft in the middle...

My blade would be 7mm thick with 3 layers reinforcing each other. I think it should be stronger, but maybe not by much.

This is the exact reason why I'm guessing balsa. But actually many wood types have lines at the end grain.

Hmm, this makes some sense, but they make functioning Hinoki single plies... It should at least be stronger than that... Cheers L-zr

It’s listed as 84g and +- 5g sounds about right. Anything more is too much. Cheers L-zr

There handmade so its probably individual, According to the spec blade I have Viscaria is a 25, Harimoto ALC is also a 25 and Timo Boll ALC is a 24. This should make all Harimotos thicker than all Timo Bolls.

I got the same Blade, mine is 25 years old and has actually been unused the whole time. It has not been exposed to humidity in any way, size, shape or form... It’s weight is still a hefty 100 grams. In my experience wood dries with time unless exposed to humidity. So I’m wondering if the old...

And all my guns are manufactured before 1890 and (mostly) original. If the ignition mechanism (percussion cap) is separate from the shell and the gun is manufactured before 1890 , they are license free here. So that makes them muzzle loaders with a few exceptions. Cheers L-zr

Here (In Sweden) they opened in August/September and closed again in November. Now its only open for kids. I'm still playing a little bit, every time I can drag someone into the office :-) (I can not work from home, no internet) Cheers L-zr
