Are you talking about boosting it after a long period of use? Or boosting when it's still quite new? I've boosted 09C which expands. My D05 doesn't.

Interesting to know. I've not done a comparison test. I've also heard that the national H3 weighs less for the same degree = you can boost more without breaking your wrist. But I haven't verified this claim

I mean I don't play competitively, so a H3 that can return short, long, slow, fast, spinny, no spin and loop works really well at the amateur level. In defence, I can also chop from far away with ease.

It has great control but not slow at all. I played with a teen who trains regularly with the provincial team. Against the D05 my “dead” H3 wins most of the points 😂 I am not even the strong one on BH. It’s really easy to drive unboosted H3.
