You shouldn’t have to boost the BH rubber. At 37 degree it’s really easy to hit through. It also means the risk of overboosting is high. Overboosting means you soften the sponge too much and it becomes mushy and unplayable.
If you are new to boosting, I recommend you to boost your FH rubber...

I had played RPB for 6 years. It’s counterintuitive but I find tacky or half-tacky rubber works really well on bh.
I’ve also played T64, Vega Europe, R7, MXP but tacky rubbers gave me way more confidence.
Tacky rubbers for bh:
TG3-60
H3-50
H8-80
H8 38 degree
K1
H3 37
In the provincial BS, the only difference is the topsheet.
TG2 topsheet is harder than H3, hence in high impact TG2 has a higher catapult effect.
In low impact, TG2 topsheet feels more “dead” than H3.
It could become WCQ's playground as I don't see anyone good enough to challenge him. But of course WCQ had played so many tournaments. He might lose some edge due to exhaustion.
The CNT can study and beat you if you rely on a few special tactics or strength.
But from the match you can tell Lin is pretty well rounded now. 3 years ago he struggled with:
Mid distance top spin
FH top spin
Short game
Strength in general
Now he has fixed all that and is just better than...
Lin’s improved so much in short games and FH. In WCQ’s match Lin was even more powerful and faster. No surprise that even the dragon struggled to keep up with Lin’s pace.
Well done Lin!! Being so young and show so much talent
I concur. BS without boosting is pretty dead slow. If you insist without boosting, I would buy Neo H3 39 BS so it’s a bit easier on your learning curve
Excellent analysis. ML just has so many tactics up his sleeve and he can deploy them depending on who he's playing. Felix is young, hence not so many tactics in his arsenal.
I hope Felix will grow to be in the top 3!! Great to see some variation in tt
