  1. Chinese Trials for World Championships 2017

I am glad XX won against FB. But unfortunately it happened due to FB's underperforming. I still wish XX all the best as I'm a penholder myself.
  2. Chinese Trials for World Championships 2017

Xu Xin has won against 3 teammates in a row (one of them was Fang Bo). He seems picking up speed and rhythm. Hopefully he will make a comeback and get a ticket to Düsseldorf for WTTC. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk

  5. TableTennisDaily meet Marcos Freitas!

Could he donate his rubbers to TT Daily users like me??
  6. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

That's unfortunate. RPB does put pressure on your fingers. I usually use the wrist training tool to increase my strength.
  7. Best Penhold Combo for Beginner?

Friendship rubbers only come with one thickness. They are generally very controllable rubbers (I.e. not fast) so thickness doesn't matter.
  8. Best Penhold Combo for Beginner?

Currently Yasaka Sweden classic is $23 on special (TT11). You can get Friendship FX Bluesponge for forehand and Friendship FX super soft for backhand. The rubber costs $8.7 each but really good rubber. All up approx $46 incl shipping depending on where you are.
  9. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Yup speed 90 has a softer feeling than other hinoki but still retain the power reservoir. Therefore short game is still good when paired with hurricane rubbers. If you find an old 9mm speed 90 is even better. One of my clubmate has a 9mm which feels really good in control without compromising...
  10. Stiga Celero Wood

No definitely no. Celero Wood gives a very solid feel even when looping far from the table. Actually Stiga Carbonado 145 has more hollow feel than Celero Wood. I own both.
  11. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

I also switched from SH to PH. Serve is much better and more variety. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk
  12. Personal rubber Ma Long 2012 Skyline 3 blue sponge

But people say skyline2 is better in control and spin than skyline3.
  13. Personal rubber Ma Long 2012 Skyline 3 blue sponge

Where do you get authentic skyline2 blue sponge?
  14. Personal rubber Ma Long 2012 Skyline 3 blue sponge

Yeah I would love to try. How is the Skyline2 blue sponge compared to H3 blue sponge in mid distance? Is looping powerful enough? Where do you buy authentic skyline2 blue sponge. Apparently it's hard to find
  15. Personal rubber Ma Long 2012 Skyline 3 blue sponge

Hey Bob. I was thinking about that rubber too. Have you played that in the past? I heard that skyline2 is lighter than H3, being spinnier and has more control.
  16. Stiga Intensity

At the end of the day it all depends on your style. Intensity is hard and suits you if you need loads power reservoir. But it doesn't deliver much feedback or flex due to its hardness. At least that's what I feel. My Intensity is almost as fast and as hard as other carbon blades. HH3 has a...
  17. FH rubber - control close to table + strong for from it

I have used all kinds of hurricane rubbers - Provincial, national, H3-50, normal hurricane, hurricane 2. They all require a relatively high level of technique because: ** Very tacky grippy topsheet: >>Create enormous spin but also very sensitive to incoming spin >> Medium-high arch. It...
  18. Hurricane Long 5 or Carbonado 190?

W968. The custom made version of Long 5. Better built quality. But $500 USD. The dream blade I want. Loads of good review online. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk
  19. FH rubber - control close to table + strong for from it

Nothing can beat the Hurricane 3 or 8 in this regard. You can have excellent short game and ease in close to table attack. Once engaged the sponge (esp Provincial or National version) will give you tons of power away from the table. The looping power is comparable to the Tenergy sponge.
  20. Nittaku Ma Long 5

Interesting. Fairly expensive to my budget hopefully can try it one day. I only love wooden blades. [emoji16] [emoji16]
