  1. Rubber that is like Flextra but faster.

Hope Gewo will make Thunderball 3. I want to try Thunderball 2 with a slightly thicker sponge but it's hard to source. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk
  2. Rubber that is like Flextra but faster.

I could only get Thunderball 2nd hand probably it's out of production. The control it gives you is out of this world after trying so many big brands. I could direct the ball anywhere I want. With 1.5mm I could do mid to far distance counter loop. Mark V is not that soft in comparison.
  3. Rubber that is like Flextra but faster.

Another penholder here. I have tried a number of soft rubbers for RPB: 729 snipe III 729 Aurora Donic F3 Rasant powersponge Rasant Beat Butterfly T80 Gewo Thunderball 2 Nittaku FastArc C1 To my surprise the less known Thunderball 2 and FastArc C1 beat the rest of them. Thunderball and FastArc...

  6. What rubber should i choose for my FH? My paddle is hurricane king 1, i like to loop.

Hurricane King 1 is soft and has some degree of flexibility. It's a DHS product and it's designed to match Chinese rubber such as H3 or H8. If you like German or Japanese rubbers make sure you go for something medium to high hardness.
  7. Best Chinese fh rubber or alternative?

I have tried all of TG2, TG3, H2 and H3. Being a Chinese rubber user for a long time I would say H3 (especially provincial) is the best in most aspects. But if you want to try it just for fun I would recommend Sanwei Target National blue sponge. The top sheet is tacky but the sponge is German...
  8. Jun mizutani ZLC with hurricane?

It really depends on your style. DHS makes both shitty and wonderful blades.
  9. Nittaku Hammond Pro Beta - alternatives?

Yeah I know and I have shopped with TT11. I usually wait for second hand rubber on eBay. Like I get good used T05 for $15-30 USD. I got my FastArc for $12. Still pretty new.
  10. Carbon ply placement w/ chinese rubbers

Unless you can execute very good techniques and play at advanced level, boosted H3 Neo would be more than enough on wooden blades. Boosted H3 is usually perceived as a slow rubber because its deadly power can only be unleashed with proper techniques. I have played boosted H3 provincial on...
  11. Nittaku Hammond Pro Beta - alternatives?

Personally I have always trying to find a Hammond beta pro. It's fairly expensive so I have been waiting for a second hand rubber. But I have used Nittaku FastArc C1 on my BH playing plastic ball. It's light yet quite fast. Low arc. Medium sensitivity to incoming spin = great control + good...

  13. Changing to short pips - Should I do it and tips.

You are right. I just played with a SP player (SP on both sides). He plays very fast close to the table. Once away from table, he still hit on FH but chop on BH.
  14. Changing to short pips - Should I do it and tips.

I played SP on my BH in the past. I'm a looper. I can tell you honestly, SP is dead as soon as you step away from the table. With inverted rubber I can still counter loop on my BH. So i suggest you only switch to SP if your style is close to table. Any soft (soft top sheet + soft sponge) rubber...
  15. tg3 blue sponge ) old top sheet

TG3 national vs H3 national: Better control A bit more linear Less top speed Less top spin You might as well get a H3 National BS for far less
  16. Is there any way to get original national/provincial Skyline TG2 Neo ?

  17. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Not that I can see on their website. They sell through distributor only. I might email them and ask.
  18. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Unfortunately it's hard to buy OSP blades in Oceania.
  19. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

The same works for CPen as well. I have a Darker Speed 90 CPen similar to yours. Thick and heavy. With two pieces of rubber my grip is way stronger.
