Hao2 can be as slow or as fast as you want depending on the rubbers you put on and your stroke. I own Hao1 as well. It's thinner and lighter than Hao2. Quite slow due to the thinner core. Might suit what you need.

Don't forget DHS Hao2. A really fine blade. Built in quality with a nice finish. Arguably better built than Stiga blades. I have played that for a few months. Very good flex and wonderful wood feeling. That would guarantee pretty good control and short game. It's very comfortable for RPB too.

I glue two pieces of rubbers to improve the comfort and grip of the thumb and index finger. Prefer soft rubber like BH rubber. I also sand down the back of the handle to make it more comfortable.

Like you said RSM RPB can be very powerful. But that requires the power of single ply hinoki which I have luckily. We have two people playing JPen RPB in our local club (incl myself). The advantage is that JPen provides a strong grip therefore you don't lose much power when looping with RPB.

It is a contradiction. A rubber with great spin is usually sensitive to incoming spin. However, Donic BF JP3 is probably the best compromise. It's not so sensitive to incoming spin. It generates decent spin But it requires active stroke.
