  1. How to get doublebounce spinny backhand, forehand like Tiago Aplonia away from table

All the wonderful things that can be discerned from carefully reading the posts of the brilliant Jugaadu combined with imaginative interpretations of ancient texts - BRILLIANT!
  2. Yu Ziyang what happened?

Using kukamonga as a name for someone from Burkina Faso reminds me of those people who have only seen Africa in racist cartoons...
  3. Rebulding Fundamental strokes for my game play

IT's not ideal but the angle makes it look worse.
  4. How to get doublebounce spinny backhand, forehand like Tiago Aplonia away from table

You mean Siva is really Shava who is Shabba who is Shabba Ranks who is Mr Loverman?
  5. Tibhar Evolution EL-S and FX-S

He is also almost definitely Stiga-sponsored. I will be testing them but they don't excite me. I was a big time MX-S user and the main issue was the ball arc. This EL-S sounds to me like someone woke up and reworked Baracuda.
  6. Tibhar Evolution EL-S and FX-S

Maybe a rubber to finally rule them all...
  7. Backhand Reverse Serve

  8. Backhand Reverse Serve

That's a backhand pendulum serve (the regular backhand pendulum serve produces reverse sidespin). The backhand reverse serve produces pendulum sidespin. It's a close relative of the backhand tomahawk serve and is one of my favorite serves - I use it a lot in my matches at key points.
  9. How to get doublebounce spinny backhand, forehand like Tiago Aplonia away from table

I knew I was onto something. So in Star Wars we have the Jedi, in Siva Vids; we have the Jugaadu. Sweet. Seems like Siva just filmed Revenge of the Siva where he eschews his Jugaad for the club setting. These Siva are very powerful.
  10. Tibhar Evolution EL-S and FX-S

You want me to tell Tibhar to shut up and take my money... that's an evil review right there.
  11. Yu Ziyang what happened?

He just hasn't seen you play yet, kowabunga.
  12. Advice needed for a new racket setup

Yes, but a little less spin and lower trajectory. I prefer higher spin and higher trajectory with a little less speed for shorter strokes but it is up to how you play.
  13. Advice needed for a new racket setup

When you want more spin and speed with shorter strokes. and you loop on both sides, there is only one answer - Tenergy 05. Of course, it is not a cheap answer - so people do the Evolutions, Bluefires, Rasants etc. What you have chosen is good - a bit too long trajectory and low throw for me...
  14. Ask ITTF President Thomas Weikert a question on the TTD podcast!

Is there any momentum towards standardizing the table tennis ball rather than having all the different types that play differently? Have you watched any of Gregg Lett's youtube videos criticizing the ITTF with cartoons and if so what do you think of them? Is there any plan to either legalize...
  15. my new training videos

Heavier blades allow you to get good spin and speed with shorter strokes. You might be swinging way more than you actually need to. You both have pretty good games, though the familiarity may be masking some of both your strengths.
  16. How to get doublebounce spinny backhand, forehand like Tiago Aplonia away from table

Only because you have no serious love for Jugaad! You need more innovation in your life, Carl. You need to fall in love with the poor man's version of these things. Aren't you from America where we try to do things for ourselves? Surely, feeding your self is better than being fed by someone...
  17. How to get doublebounce spinny backhand, forehand like Tiago Aplonia away from table

Yes, I guess our only difference of opinion is whether the poor man's copy is laudable or not.
  18. How to get doublebounce spinny backhand, forehand like Tiago Aplonia away from table

Carl, it is not idiotic. In fact, I think you fail to appreciate Siva's Indian heritage and his usage of Jugaad. Since I come from Nigeria originally, I understand the use of contraptions to make do when you cannot have the ideal setup. This is a running theme through his videos and coaching...
  19. How to get doublebounce spinny backhand, forehand like Tiago Aplonia away from table

Okay. What spin is on this serve (video coming soon)....
