  1. Fastest rubber

Tareq was a top level p-l-a-y-e-r - it just wasn't in table tennis. :p
  2. Boosting tenergy

May I ask your USATT rating please? I got to USATT 2000 without using Butterfly composite blades. I didn't even use their overpriced wood blades either - I gave away my Primorac OFF- for free. I bought my first Butterfly composite in over 2 and a half years last month (IF ZLC) and I still...
  3. Fastest rubber

Carl, The man asked a simple question. Do we always have to psychoanalyze his choices? He was very specific - what is Donic's fastest rubber? He didn't say that he was looking for equipment advice etc. If I came on here and asked for Donic's fastest rubber, I hope you guys wouldn't ask me...
  4. Boosting tenergy

When you think this search is a substitute for training to improve your game, get enamored with some "right" matches, then switch them out when the honeymoon period is over for no good reason. The worst kind of EJing is when people switch repeatedly between blades and rubbers in the same...
  5. What oils can be used as boosters?

The lower the level of the player (less looping/spinning capability), the less benefit they derive from boosters and speed glue.
  6. What oils can be used as boosters?

Rubbers are supposed to be glued while curled up - the issue is whether they will stay on or not.
  7. Boosting tenergy

Relatively speaking, the Calibra LTs, Juic Nanospin II or even among the Tenergys, Tenergy 64 when passive blocking vs. Tenergy 05. Even MX-S that I use right now isn't the same as MX-P or T05 in favoring very closed racket angles but it is also the most confusing rubber that I have ever used...
  8. TT Myth Busters

There is also an explanation here https://thoughtsontabletennis.wordpress.com/2015/03/09/introduction-to-table-tennis-chemistry/ in terms of air cells for those who believe in the "tension fairy" because they have sophisticated enough loops to differentiate between tensioned rubbers and...
  9. Which poly ball should you choose?

At MyTT,a poster showed that it might not be so much that the quality of the Nittaku ball is way better. It is actually smaller than the others, which might explain why it plays so similarly to a cell ball.
  10. Boosting tenergy

I'm a notoriously confused decent level EJ, an EJ who argues with other EJs about the value of EJing, and we decent level EJs are all on the same page so we don't really argue - I tend to argue more with the naive EJs. In general, getting too much arc out of any Tenergy 05 or 0FX is a sign of...
  11. Boosting tenergy

Good info, but one correction - FX gives lower arc. You can see it in 05FX most clearly and any of the others if you test it.
  12. Butterfly New products: Bryce Highspeed Rubber

More speed? With the Chinese using tacky rubbers and T05 and MX-P ruling? Clearly an invention of the goon squad.
  13. Need advice on what blade to use with xiom vega pro(cheap)

I agree from a pure quality stand point. That said, you have to order on the website and wait for the seller to give you a quote for international shipping (which may take time depending on your order time and time zone but less than 24 hours). Then when he quotes you, you have to pay by...
  14. Need advice on what blade to use with xiom vega pro(cheap)

Part of the reason I haven't reviewed the blade yet is that I ordered a new one from the manufacturer/distributor and want to get it before reviewing. IT's an awesome blade, and because it is a 3+2 ply, it matches my sensibilities better than state of the art 5+2 ply's do.
  15. New rubber

TT11 has sold Butterfly for a while. They don't sell Butterfly internationally because Butterfly gives its dealers regions over which they can sell. This improves Butterfly's ability to control regional prices.
  16. Amateur player with a crazy Backhand

Hey, Marc. I used Amicus Pro (I am sure it is similar to yours). Your flexibility is a gift, IMHO. I truly believe that if you block/counter more at the table with your backhand, then everything else will come naturally and make sense but without that, making the stroke shorter has less...
  17. Boosting - Noob Question

Boosting will not do much or anything for you unless you know how to spin the ball well. I beat many players who boost (well, some manufacturers sell me and everyone else boosted stuff, so I mean I beat players who boost the stuff sold to them) and they beat me too. It's at the higher levels...
  18. Rubber/Blade combinations - Another Noob question

You come in peace, so I come in peace too. The first and most important questions are: 1. Do you get coaching? 2. What are you trying to do with your game? As a general rule, blades add to the speed of all strokes, while rubbers add primarily the spin of spin strokes. The blade's rebound...
  19. New rubber

They do - Butterfly has territorial restrictions on where their vendors can sell, so you can't buy from tt11 - you need to buy from the dealer in Britain. Again, you ducked my question - are you getting the dealer to put together the blade for you?
  20. Nexy Kanaph

Nice story. The goon squad has pictures of you doing the secret handshake with Ding Ning in order to get the Blue sponge boosted version of H8. Don't repeat your story elsewhere or I will track down the goon squad and send the pictures to your wife and kids.
