I have Volant Phoenix 39 on one of my Pro 01 that plays pretty nice. I will also try Rxton 3 Pro on another one soon. Both are cheap and don't need booster.
I received 3 Rxton 3 Pro and 3 regular Rxton 3 today. In contrast to LAC the weights of the respective types are fairly close to each other. To my surprise the regular Rxton 3s are 2g heavier even though the sponge is 1° softer (both use Negh Sponge I).
On the negative side, I glued a Volant...
Thanks for the answer. I'm more curious though about a comparison between your new setup and the old one (Boll ALC with D05) than a general explanation of how to lift underspin.
How do you find lifting heavy backspin on the forehand? Both ZLC blades and Battle 2 are said to have low throw angle which in theory would make it harder.
Could that mean provincial doesn't need booster? Like Rxton 3 Pro which also has a porous sponge. That one is very smelly, so it might be factory tuned.
You did not specificly say "on all blades" and in your pictures there was a HL5 with C55 for some reason.
I was asking because I always thought that ZLC was known for lower throw than ALC.
