  1. Looking for Limba Outer Carbon

That is a SERIOUSLY FAST rebounding blade with one of the best handles EVER. Maybe downgrade expectations of Limba to HINOKI and go with Donic Waldner Legend that has less rebound, better feel and still a great top end on well struck balls with big spin that Hinoki is LUV'd upon by Koreans.

Still have the Persson Power Play bats and will not abandon them, but I am committing myself to 6 months of the Waldner Legend Carbon. The handle on that blade is so damn right, makes it so much easier to use my fingers. Will see what the next 6 months bring me. So far, I play same consistency...
  3. Why are Evolution rubbers still less popular than tenergy?

The answer to why Tibhar Evolution rubbers are not so popular with amateur players is real simple. THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of amateur players collectively, whether they realize or not, so many are very sheep like and do not think for themselves or reason well. Some do, big majority do not...
  4. Calling all 2026 US Open Players - Let's all do a Goon Squad on Vegas

Hi All, I have 10 players from Sacramento lined up to play in this year's US Open. Most of us are teaming up and driving down (and staying in Luxor to save 70% on expenses) I will probably play 25%, good off with friends 25% (and expend way too much energy) and coach 50%. It is REAL EASY to...
  5. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Korean coaches usually sell the equipment to Korean amateur players and glue/cut the rubbers for free. Not a bad way to go, if a coach or competent person is around, why not use their help? You can also give em a cold can or bottle of water. Sticky sheets are not really a long term solution...
  6. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Send me a 3 second clip if you can... if you cannot, I can telly what is likely going on with 90% certainty. Great majority of players who miss this kind of chance ball are really just not ready for it. They start with their bat way too low. This makes them swing WAY to far up steep and you...
  7. DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial 38° Blue Sponge completely unboosted how does it really play?

It doesn't matter any moar. MusclePong ripped hiz H3 off hiz bat and sez he isn't coming back. In the meantime, Sergey the Tsos Unit can answer all H3 questions if we can get him on the forum. #Signup Sergey
  8. Politics - Any and All Political Discussions Not Really Related to TT

The overwhelming preponderance of Chinese citizens are great, the representative government, not so much. USA has some similarities too with the elected leaders not voting with the will of the people on the 80/20 or 90/10 issues.
  9. A better forum via better moderation

Carl messaged me on his NSA Spy Phony to inject some Goon Squad antics into the situation. Sometimes that is how he moderated.

I was just at the LA Open, you coulda hit me upside my old head.
  11. Any amputee player here ??

We have a Ukrainian left handed player who had some training in his youth and I gave him free training 3x a week fir a year... he figured out how to toss medium high and make varied serves and br ready to pounce and attack and rally.
  12. What is hardest sponge Chinese's rubber.

We need a Uni funded national study to determine if a 30 yr old sheet of H2 hard is harder than a 2 ton sheet of granite rock.
  13. WHO let the dogs out ??? WHO is going to 2016 LA Open this Aug 8-9 ??? (2026, I mean...)

At least the TTD Mod, @NextLevel will guess and comprehend what I am discussing at this stage of my TT life, even if I have never lived up to my promise of visiting him... maybe Der_Echte can make that happen this fall 2026.
  14. WHO let the dogs out ??? WHO is going to 2016 LA Open this Aug 8-9 ??? (2026, I mean...)

My side mission will be the greatest risk I have ever undertaken in uniform on a TT forum,
  15. Modern rubbers are killing the rotation in the topspin play

Noooooooooo !! Think of all the professionally trained Chinese and Inian kids training in the USA would do if they had to face even MOAR spin from adults and that dreaded VARIETY ???!!! Those kids' parents would have their mind explode if we went to a smaller cell ball. Quadruple haha.
  16. Modern rubbers are killing the rotation in the topspin play

Bran is IMO correct to note that change of speed of ball is a good variation, I can ague that at U2200 USATT level, that is the most effective variation, better than spin variation.
  17. WHO let the dogs out ??? WHO is going to 2016 LA Open this Aug 8-9 ??? (2026, I mean...)

As the title sez, WHO is gunna go to this tourney ??? I will be there and do a side mission on Sunday. No, it is not buying ice cream for a player.
  18. FS: Xiom Hugo HAL (FL) - Excellent Condition (Including Original Box)

This coach likes anti, LP and SP... he is messing around currently with an SP/SP setup. Do you remember Emil from back in the day in SD area? He is a member of this forum, but posts very irregularly. (ERM)
  19. Modern rubbers are killing the rotation in the topspin play

I am 60 and still spin first and ask questions later. Even the moderator of this forum will advocate to learn how to spin the ball in every possible situation for both safety and effectiveness. Not everyone will spin first and spin heavy like I do and crave, nor like you, who are similar...
  20. FS: Xiom Hugo HAL (FL) - Excellent Condition (Including Original Box)

Not so long ago, a coach here in Sacramento REALLY wanted one of those and finally got one. The way he waited and raved for that blade, it seemed like he would buy 10 of them. I will try to seek him out for you.
